I stayed at this small little hostel in Itaewon and honestly it was one of the most memorable places I’ve ever booked. The staff were incredibly kind, the rooms were clean, and the atmosphere felt cozy in a way that made it easy to settle in after a long night out. It had that quiet tucked-away charm that makes a place feel more personal than a regular hotel.
The location was perfect too — close enough to enjoy everything in the neighborhood, but still peaceful once you got back inside. The bed was comfortable, the shared space was welcoming, and the whole place had a warm vibe that made it feel special.
The only unusual thing was sometime after 3am, I noticed what looked like faint footprints slowly appearing across the ceiling above my bed. At first I thought I was half asleep, but they kept forming one after another like someone invisible was walking overhead. What made it even stranger was that the blood moon was hanging outside the window that same night, casting this red glow through the curtains that made the whole room feel surreal.
Even with that, I can’t deny the hostel left an impression on me. If you want a cozy stay in Itaewon with character — and maybe a story you’ll never forget — this place is worth it.
