Shinchon Grand

The hotel is very basic but it’s normal based on the low price. So don’t expect too much. However, the receptionist is friendly. They don’t offer housekeeping if you don’t ask for it. I read that they do housekeeping one day a week. The location is convenient. It’s old but generally clean as far as I can tell. It’s definitely a good recommendation if you are on a low budget.

Location near shinchon train station. 3blocks away by foot, police officers very friendly to help Locate d hotel. Hotel Provided celfon cords& outlets. The room was clean, cold. We checked in late 9pm, yet receptionist was there very friendly-good dnglish. Easy access w/ keycard. Ref, tv, hot& cold shower, wifi too. very convenient. Nearby taxi waits for easy rides. Hotel is located around 200m Sinchon station. 15 mins walk to hongik. With convenience stores and restaurants near the hotel. The staff were friendly and able to understand english and we were even allowed to check-in early and was given a big room. They provided small bath towels, hot and cold drinking water and bottled water. They also had smart tv with netflix and disney plus. The only drawback were that the bed was too bouncy for me and there was an old hotel smell due to the carpets. Overall, it’s highly recommended to stay here in relation to its price and proximity to the tourist attractions.

The staff is very friendly and helpful 😊 Basic amenities & toiletries are provided, like water filter & microwave, shampoo, body gel & hair conditioner, even towel & slippers, and hairdryer.
