OYO Hostel Myeongdong 2 Reviews

Amazing hostel! Lived there for 9 days and loved absolutely everything about this place! I want to say thank you to the hostel staff who always helped me and were optimistic and joyful! The room is small but with everything that you need! And the most wonderful thing is the kitchen on the 5th floor where you can sit and eat in peace. Also amazing location, every single shop that you can imagine is HERE! The next time I’ll be there I’m going to stay at this place again! And also thank you for a little gift after check out❤️

Only had hand luggage so space is just nice. Toilet too cramp. Location opposite Daiso but the other end from myeongdong street food & namdaemun is still walking distance. For solo travel and 1 night still manageable.

I stayed at this hostel for twice because it’s convenient to dine and shopping. I can walk from this hostel to myeongdong market within 1 minute. There are convenient stores (gs25 and 7-11) nearby the hostel. You can take the limousine bus from ICN airport, get off at myeongdong station bus stop and easy to walk to this hostel. The room is small but okay for me.

Everything is very good. It meet my expectations and is definitely good enough to just sleep, stay warm, breakfast and the service from the front desk is helpful enough. As a travellers, we have to understand the culture and be grateful that someone is serving. No complaints cause everything are very smooth and we are at ease during the stay. ❤️

All in all it's great but some amenities are missing so you have to buy it on a store outside

I really like this hotel. The room is compact and very inviting. Quiet, no noise at all. I stay on the 7th floor, the water flow is not strong at all. but overall everything is very ok thank you very much

Location is very convenient. Very near to exit 10. Very near to myeongdong shopping. Variety of food available downstairs.

Perfect for solo travellers!

First time traveling alone to Korea. Myeongdong is within walking distance and the staff are friendly. I sent my suitcase from the airport, but after the staff received it, I knocked and received an email saying that they had left it at the door because they were not there. I was given some snacks when I checked in, and when I checked out, I left my card key, but they prepared a souvenir for each guest. The room was small, but no problem. The TV didn't work even after I followed the instructions, but they looked at it right away when I asked. The hair dryer didn't work even when I plugged it into the outlet, but it was okay. Water is not bottled, but there is coffee, hot water, and ice in the shared space that is available 24 hours a day. I didn't eat breakfast, but there was cereal, bread, jam, juice, etc. You have to wash your own dishes after using them, not just breakfast. There was a message that the hotel was fully booked the whole time I was staying. There were a lot of people other than Japanese. I recommend it if you are not staying at the hotel for a long time and just want to leave your luggage.

The hotel staff were friendly and had a nice smile. The shower in the room I stayed in couldn't be turned on, and they helped with it. The room is suitable for 2 people. I will recommend it to my friends.
