Hotel Kuretakeso Insadong

Great location, about 5-8mins walk from metro station, and 3-4mins walk to the main street in Insadong. Close by to Bukchon Hanok village and Ikseondong village. Double room was compact, reminded me of the small hotel rooms in Japan. Sufficient for one person but small for two people. Bathroom (shower and toilet) was tight fitting. Sink was located outside of bathroom, in the room. Room was clean but some things need updating. The bed linen had old stains and small holes in it. The bathroom smelt funky because the shower curtain hadn’t been properly cleaned in a while. Basic amenities were provided such as towels, non-disposable slippers, soap bar, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner. Overall, a good hotel for one or two nights sleep but wouldn’t stay longer than that.

Location: main sights are within walking distance, palaces, Namsan park, the steam and others. Neighbourhood: 24 h shop is next door. A lot of cafes and food stalls. The hotel door leads to A tourist street with souvenirs and it is literally a couple of meters from the entrance :) 4 metro stations are in 10 - 15 min walk from the hotel, there are a lot of bus stops to different destinations. A bus stop to the airport is 10 min walk (limousine bus) , it's very convenient Service: Staff are friendly, helpful and polite (what else can one expect from Korea 😊). Breakfasts: Don't vary very much but ok to begin the day. Rooms: If you're lucky you'll get a street view. My second time room faces the wall. But as I came back to the room only to sleep it was not a big deal. In general, if I come to Seoul again, I'll definitely stay at this hotel Thank you for taking care of me.

The hotel is two minutes walk to Insadong street, lots of restaurants around, but hotel entrance is not so easy to find. The breakfast is very simple, but it’s good enough. several currency exchange places nearby, the exchange rate is just slightly lower than Myeongdong area, it’s convenient for us to get the KRW. Two vegetarian restaurants within 5 mins walk, it’s good for us as vegetarian.

Excellent location with easy access to subway. Room is clean and service is good. We had a very nice stay.

Easy to find Good location It’s not spotlessly clean but the sheets and bathroom look clean so that’s good for this price. Bring your own slippers. Bring your own toothbrush ahd toothpaste. Shower feels sooo good. Consistent hot water. Also the A/C is nice and strong Concierge is good and friendly and have travel adapters for borrowing All in all I booked on a whim however was pleasantly surprised and would book again. Location and price is amazing.

It is a good alternative to stay here instead of Myeong Dong. You can walk there in 15 minutes and can appreciate the river and Junggo. The washing machine and dryer at the group floor is Handy but remembered to turn on the dryer power after inserting 3k won.
