No too far from myeongdong station, about 5mins and , you can see N seoul tower fron street in fornt of the hotel .

Great hotel super convenient to public transport and virtually on the doorstep of myeongdong station Only criticism was the gym aircon wasnt on when i went up so had to wait for it do cool down before working out

The location is very good, very near to MyeongDong shopping street. It is also very near to airport bus. Very convenient. However, the toilet/bathroom might be abit small and light abit dim. Overall good experience!

Comfortable stay over the 7 nights, just that room view was facing another building wall. But if you are not in the room most of the time, view should not be a concern. Room is good for 1 pax with a large luggage. Near Myeongdong and Chungmuro subways, walking distance 5-8 mins. Euljiro (3) Ga station about 12 mins walk. Can leave luggage at lobby if u arrived earlier and leaving for airport later. Very prompt service whenever you request for help.

I recently stayed at Ibis Styles Myeongdong in Seoul, and overall it was a pleasant experience that balanced comfort, convenience, and affordability. The hotel’s location is definitely one of its strongest points. It’s within walking distance of Myeongdong shopping street, which made it very easy to explore local food, street markets, and shops without needing much transportation. There are also subway stations nearby, making it convenient to reach other parts of the city. The room itself was compact, which is quite typical for hotels in Seoul, but it was clean, modern, and well-organized. The bed was comfortable enough for a good night’s sleep, and the amenities provided were sufficient for a short stay. I especially appreciated the large windows, which offered a nice city view. One highlight of the hotel is the rooftop area. It provides a great panoramic view of Seoul, especially at night, and it’s a nice place to relax after a long day of walking around the city. The staff were polite and helpful, although communication in English could sometimes be a bit limited. Still, they did their best to assist with requests and directions. As for the downsides, the room size might feel a bit tight if you have large luggage, and the breakfast selection, while decent, could be more varied. Overall, I would recommend Ibis Styles Myeongdong for travelers looking for a clean, well-located, and reasonably priced hotel in Seoul. It’s especially suitable for solo travelers or couples who plan to spend most of their time exploring the city.

After staying at a nearby hotel, I moved here for another three nights. The room is cosy and a good size for one person. It might feel small for two, but still manageable. It was very clean, with separate shower and toilet areas. The shower has a frosted glass wall with curtains available, but it’s still something to note if privacy is a concern. The rooftop is a real highlight, offering amazing sunset views, city views, and a great view of Seoul Tower. However, the room itself had no view at all, facing a narrow space between buildings, which made it very dark throughout the day with almost no natural light. I was also given a lower-floor room near the elevator, which was slightly noisy. When I asked if I could change rooms, the request was declined and I was given earplugs instead. Overall, it was an acceptable stay, but considering the price, noisy and dark room, I probably wouldn’t choose to stay again.
