Unfriendly attitue and not symnpathetic towards paying customers > we arrived at 830pm to hotel, reception phoned up to restaurant say we were coming up whilst we were finishing check-in and informed the kitchen/restaurant.
At 8.40pm directly after check-in we go to restatuanrt; restaurant manager very unfriendly only buffet available closes at 9pm and we must leave at 9pm!! Unbelieveable!
We just ate and left at 9.20pm, when they were still cleaning.
At 9pm immediately closure of buffet; no-one came to inform us "we will be closing anything more you would like"? = seems reasonable request from a paying customer.
Also immediately bringing out cleaning tools whilst we were still eating.
There was no need to be very unfriendly and insist we leave at 9pm ; they could have said "no problem to stay a bit longer and finish your meal, but we will be cleaning and setting up for tomorrow" > completely different attitude and more empathatic towards paying guests. We understand that.
Same evening we go to 24hr coffee lounge on ground floor near reception; no-one there, only paying coffee machine, no snacks nothing else...no problem for us.
WE need to do work, reboort and re-isntallment of our computer after the worldwide breadown.
4 hrs we needed from 10pm to 2am to try and reboot.At midnight the reception comes to us to say " no outside drinks 7 food allowed- cold soda & chips" Noone was there, empty lounge and no softdrinks or snacks available from hotel, we had to buy outside!
And are we planning on staying long as it is already midnight? ***?!!! it is a 24hr lounge and we are clearly working not relaxing or partying!
Most unwelcoming and unsympathetic towards paying cutomers, do not book plenty alternatives around.Sheraton unworhty!
