Hotel Lumia Myeongdong

The room was a bit small; once I put my suitcase down, it pretty much took up all the space in the hallway. The room lights automatically turn off after a while, and the bathroom light in my room would turn off every night while I was showering. It was a bit spooky showering in complete darkness, not being able to see my hand in front of my face. As for cleanliness, the duvet and sheets were yellowish, so I’d recommend bringing your own disposable travel sheet set. The floor and toilet were relatively clean and not old, and someone came to clean every day. The location is convenient, about a 5-minute walk from Hoehyeon Station, and the area is very quiet. Of course, I wouldn't dare wander around the hotel vicinity at 1 AM; it's all narrow alleyways, and there's nobody around. The hotel offers self check-out and electronic locks, which is a nice touch.

The location is excellent, right next to Shinsegae Department Store. You can just walk up a small slope directly from Hoehyeon subway station exit. The staff at check-in were incredibly warm and friendly, patiently explaining how to get the room card from the machine and how to check out. They also provided a sheet in our native language with information about the hotel's non-smoking policy, breakfast, laundry service, and more. There are six floors in total, with fewer rooms on the first floor. You can also go up to the rooftop from the sixth floor. The rooftop has a swing chair and some tables and chairs, perfect for eating and enjoying the view – just remember to clean up afterward! Our twin room wasn't huge, but there was plenty of space for two people to open their suitcases. The beds were a good size and very clean. Our window had a perfect view of Namsan Seoul Tower. It was very quiet at night, which was great for sleeping. The room had a TV, hairdryer, and a mini-fridge. They provided two bottles of mineral water daily, along with instant coffee and tea. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely consider staying here again!

Great location, very close to Myeongdong and Shinsegae Duty-Free. There are also CU and GS25 convenience stores nearby.

The hotel's location is fantastic, right by Namdaemun Market with tons of food options nearby. Myeongdong is also within easy walking distance. There's a GS25 and CU convenience store right downstairs, which is super convenient for grabbing anything you need. The front desk staff are really friendly and helpful; communication in English was no problem, and there were even Chinese-speaking staff, making the whole check-in process very smooth. My room had a great view of N Seoul Tower, the heating was excellent, and the cleanliness was top-notch. There was even an air freshener in the room – my backpack still smelled nice after two days of carrying it around, haha! The cleaning staff came in to tidy up every day. All in all, it was a great stay, and I'll definitely prioritize this hotel next time I visit Seoul! 🥰

Pretty good, this is my third stay. The room isn't huge, but it's perfectly adequate. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the Shilla Duty Free Shop.
