Oriens Hotel & Residences Myeongdong

Three of us stayed here for three days. On the first two days, a kind gentleman with excellent English and a great attitude helped us. When he heard there was an issue with the hot water in our room, he immediately came up with us to check, but unfortunately, he couldn't completely resolve the intermittent hot water problem at night. The hotel's location is excellent, just a ten-minute walk to Myeongdong. Navigation was a bit tricky due to ongoing road construction, but overall, the location is superb and very quiet. I wouldn't recommend it for a solo female traveler, though, as the walk back to the hotel can be very quiet and dark. There are two convenient stores nearby, which is a plus. The room was spacious enough to open three suitcases. The bathroom was a bit small. It had a refrigerator, microwave, and washing machine. Overall, it was a very good stay, and I would consider staying here again. The nearby restaurants were also excellent.

The hotel is in a great location, right in the Myeongdong business district, very close to Chungmuro subway station. It's also just a 10-15 minute walk from Myeongdong shopping street and Lotte Department Store. The room is quite spacious, though the amenities are a bit old. It comes with a washing machine, refrigerator, and pots and pans, so you can cook if you want to. The only downside is that it's next to an elevated road, so it can get a bit noisy at night with the cars passing by. Overall, it's still a good stay.
