Seoul Cube Itaewon

I booked this hostel for two nights but ended up staying only one night because I had an early flight. The location is very convenient, close to Itaewon Station and the Itaewon Mosque, with plenty of halal restaurants nearby. However, the atmosphere changes at night as the area becomes more of a nightclub district, so it can be quite lively. If you have large or heavy luggage, I recommend using Exit 2 instead of Exit 3, as Exit 2 has an elevator. This will save you from having to carry your luggage up the stairs. The hostel was reasonably clean and provided a simple breakfast, a kitchen, and luggage storage. The front office staff were okay—not particularly friendly, but not rude either. Their English was quite basic, but communication was still fine. I liked the thoughtful details in the dorm. There was a narrow space beside the bed where I could store my carry-on luggage, and the power sockets supported different plug types, so I didn't need an adapter. There was also a small mirror beside the bed, which was convenient. The bathroom had hot water, although it took some time for the water to change from cool to hot. One downside is that there wasn't much space to pray inside the hostel, so I had to find another place. Fortunately, the Itaewon Mosque was nearby, so this wasn't a big issue. Overall, it was a decent stay, especially considering the convenient location and the nearby halal food options.

This is a great hostel, sister to Seoul Cube Jongro. Central location in Itaewan if you're looking for that vibe (very different from the Jonggak vibe). It was quiet, clean and a fine place to stay.

The manager was super kind and welcoming, his hospitality was top tier! Unfortunately I couldn’t say the same for the ladies that worked there that I had to share a space with during my stay. I must say I wasn’t completely aware that you had to keep quiet at all times while in the dorm. While having a conversation with my mom on the phone one of the ladies approached me and rudely told me that I’m being too loud and this is a quiet area. I understand now that I was in the wrong but the tone and approach was unsettling that I did cry for a good while. I then decided that I did not feel comfortable finishing my stay and quickly booked another hostel that day to finish the rest of my trip in Korea.

Pros: - great location — close to the metro, with plenty of good places to eat nearby - free breakfast — rare and awesome! - maybe I got lucky, but the guests were extremely quiet and polite - lots of useful shared amenities: I used shampoo, shower gel, wet wipes, a hair dryer, and a hair straightener - the capsule is small but very cozy — perfect for solo travel Cons: - it was a bit hard to find the right door, but the staff helped and also sent clear instructions before checking in - it was slightly chilly at night, but it was around -10°C in Seoul, so that might be normal - great value for the price considering all the perks Overall: I’m planning to return to Korea and hope there will be availability next time. I really liked this place. Thank you!

Clean bed, bathroom, and very cozy & comfortable. Free breakfast.

The location is very nice, just 3 mins walk from Itaewon metro station. The bed is private bunk with strong privacy. There are 2 showers, 2 toilets and 2 sinks in the bathroom. I would highly recommend this hostel.

Great location in the heart of Itaewon! The staff were friendly and helpful, and the capsule-style rooms were clean, cozy, and surprisingly private. Perfect for solo travelers looking for a budget-friendly and convenient stay in Seoul. Would definitely stay again!

Great location as it's just one block away from the Itaewon station. Night life there is crazy, people still out on the streets at 4am. The room and bunk are mostly clean, however, I recommend bringing your own sandals as the one provided aren't really clean.
