I had a smooth check-in thanks to the Japanese-speaking staff. Not only the Japanese staff, but also the Korean staff were very friendly and helpful. The snacks and drinks at the entrance were a nice touch.
The room itself was a good size for a no-frills stay. I also appreciated the various power outlets, including Type C, which made it very convenient. However, the wall separating the bedroom from the shower/toilet area was narrow, leading to some sound leakage. The walls in general seemed thin, as I could hear conversations from the next room. I wanted to watch the WBC, but couldn't figure out how to operate the TV. Instructions were available at the entrance, but it would be great if they were provided in each room. I also noticed the sheets were dirty despite not being used, which I hope can be improved. As for the shower/toilet area, it was generally clean, but there were some dark mold-like spots, and the shower water would splash onto the toilet area if not careful, which was a bit inconvenient. The placement of the shampoo and other amenities was also a bit far and awkward to reach.
The location was excellent, within walking distance to Myeongdong and Gwangjang Market!
