Lotte Hotel World Gangnam

Twelve years ago, I stayed at the Lotte Hotel in downtown Seoul, and the service was exceptional even then. Revisiting Korea after all these years, I once again chose Lotte Hotels, even though the downtown location was fully booked. This time, we tried the Lotte Hotel World in Gangnam, and it was just as excellent as before. Everyone we encountered was incredibly smart, with fantastic service attitudes and fluent English, making communication a breeze. They were also very efficient. While the room wasn't huge, it was neat and clean, and most importantly, they offered family rooms that could comfortably accommodate older children. Even in the hallways, cleaning staff would greet us politely, and the bellhops were quick to help with luggage. Classic hotels truly stand out! The best part is the direct access to the subway, Lotte Department Store, Lotte World Department Store, Lotte restaurants, and various Lotte entertainment and tourist attractions. It’s truly a one-stop shop! Next time I visit, I'll definitely choose the Lotte Hotel in Gangnam again; I actually feel it's even better than the downtown one!

I booked the Lotte Hotel World in Gangnam because I was going to a concert at KSPO DOME. It's super convenient as it's right next to Jamsil subway station. The female receptionist who checked us in was really thoughtful; she even used a translation app on her phone to communicate with us, making the check-in process very smooth. Our booked room type also came with two free tickets to Lotte World. The day after the concert, we went to Lotte World. There's a quick access passage from the hotel lobby directly into the theme park, and my child had a great time playing there.

Facilities: Although the hotel is a bit old, it still looks very new and well-maintained. Hygiene: The hotel's hygiene is excellent, and the staff are very enthusiastic. Environment: It's a beautiful hotel with views of Lotte World, which is very convenient.

Excellent experience, the room was quiet and comfortable, and the service was great. I'll definitely rebook this hotel next time I visit Seoul!

The location is truly unbeatable. The hotel is directly connected indoors to Lotte Mall and Lotte Department Store, so you can shop, buy cosmetics and clothes, and enjoy various international cuisines all in one place without being exposed to the elements. When you're tired from shopping, you can just head straight back to the hotel – it's perfect for shoppers. Getting around is also super convenient. It's quick to take a taxi to various spots in Gangnam, and Jamsil subway station is right downstairs, making travel to and from the city center and attractions hassle-free. Hotel staff are warm and attentive; they were patient and thorough during check-in and when we asked for directions. Although the hotel has been around for some years and the facilities aren't brand new, the rooms are spotlessly clean and hygiene is perfectly maintained. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay. This is definitely my top choice when visiting Gangnam and Lotte Tower in Seoul!
