We had a suite that was smaller than most normal rooms at other Marriott properties (especially autograph tier) akin to staying in a New York or Hong Kong hotel. The size of the room was disappointing but ultimately it is a great location. The Boulangerie on the way to the metro is great 👌🏻

The location of the hotel is its main selling point. It is right where the action is. The employees are friendly, polite and very helpful. Service is premium. With the above, I would definitely recommend this place! My drawback is the breakfast offered. The choice and spread is very limited. It is better to go out and eat.

The hotel was clean and organized. The front desk was helpful and their were ladies that helped us to deliver our suitcases. I am not sure what their titles were but I just found that it was rather odd since most hotels in North America hired young men to do this. Kudos to the hotel for not type casting roles. The location was very good. The downstairs food court and restaurant was very tasty and clean. I would definitely go back to this hotel if I am ever in Korea again.

Stayed at the Lotte Executive Tower just after the holidays, in a Premier Double Room. Pros: - The entrance of the Executive Tower is absolutely beautiful. Same with the Main Tower. Elegant, refined, beautiful art work. The executive tower check-in desks are on the 15th floor. - Easy access by escalator directly into the Lotte Department Store (from where the escalator takes you to, hang a right to get to the famous food hall!) - Location can’t be beat. Directly across from Eujiro Station (1) and around the corner from Myeong-Dong Walking Street / Night Market and several 7-11s (which are almost as good as the 7-11s in Japan). - Our room was beautiful, spacious, thoughtfully designed and decorated. Very modern touches and upscale finishes. A chandelier in the bathroom?? - Immaculate housekeeping. - Excellent temperature and very strong water pressure in the shower! - Appreciate the 2 complimentary bottles of Evian every day. - Fast wifi speeds. Cons: - Love the Diptyque toiletries but wish they weren’t the communal / shared bottles. There were bits of dried lotion crusted on the pump from the previous occupant. - Weird that neither lobby had a single chair to sit on. What’s up with that? Comes off a bit inhospitable. This isn’t the type of place to attract non-guests / loiterers. A bench wouldn’t kill anyone! - For a 5* hotel and the price we’re paying, it’s disappointing that there is a surcharge should you need a toothbrush, toothpaste or use of the sauna (!!). They claim the charge for toothbrush and paste is to prevent wastage but surely you could just have these small items available upon request at the front desk? - The doormen’s manners range from formal and friendly (some) to indifferent (most) to downright hostile (many), especially if you are not a Korean speaker, as many don’t speak English. I’m not arrogant enough to think they should speak English in a non-English speaking country, but a smile is universal, you know? Would likely stay here again at the right price and given the location.

I have had the pleasure of staying at many different four seasons locations, however Four Seasons Seoul was and is by far my favorite. I flew in from the US and requested a car to pick me up at the airport in Seoul and staff was waiting for me outside when I arrived. They pre checked me in since I was traveling internationally and had arranged for me to go directly to the room. The staff was thoughtful and continued to add personal touches the entire stay. The majority of the staff is multi lingual and helped to helped to arrange transportation and exterior details of my activities and appointments. They genuinely went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and extraordinary. Cannot wait to come back!

My first time at Le Méridien Seoul , new hotel , 6 months old , super clean , great rooms facilities , good buffet breakfast , maybe a bit under staffed during rush hours but staff were very nice . Superb lounge at the 15 floor with very friendly and helpful staff special thanks to Mrs Sharon Kim and Mrs Rachael Kim for there valued help for restaurants and tips for side seen and shopping , Will go back for sure next time I will in Seoul !

The walk from seoul station is not that near. Quite a long walk with direct underpass but flat surface. Take note the underpass only 6am-11pm only. Room was huge for 1 pax, you can even open 2 big luggages on the floor. Had the first guest floor which is on 20th floor, which is quite high already. Room was clean and pillow was soft. Iron only 1 in laundry room.

Service was inconsistent - sometimes the staff were really nice and friendly and other times they were plain rude and disrespectful to you. When I first entered my room the smell took me aback. It smelled like a mix of sweat and wet socks. The sheets were crumpled and weren’t super clean either. The bathtub had yellow stains which threw me off as I was looking forward to a midnight soak. Basic amenities were given, which was great. The housekeeping ladies were really sweet as well. It’s a 5 minute walking distance to the train station so location was not so bad. Sadly I don’t think I’d book again as it was not that worth for the price.

It's a good hotel on a budget. Has a very homely breakfast and water dispenser to fill up your bottles with ice and water. Also has robes to use as pyjamas. Very no frills. Don't expect service from the staff. We expected to be able to check in earlier when we reached if the room was available. We reached only about 15mins to our check in time but were told to wait at the lobby till 1600. I am not sure what the fixation is about for the check in time. If the room is available, then let the guest have it. First time we have experienced this in any country.

I used it by myself in January. Thank you for being so nice to me. ・Location The nearest station is City Hall Station on Line 1. It is one stop from Seoul Station. Sightseeing spots such as Myeong-dong and Dongdaemun are all on Line 4, so no matter where you go, you won't have to change trains. Transferring to the Seoul subway requires a considerable distance of stairs. City Hall Station was the closest to me, but I walked 15 minutes to Myeong-dong and 10 minutes to Namdaemun each time. There are no supermarkets around, but there are many convenience stores. ·room It's clean like new. All the furniture and appliances are new and clean. The room is large enough to run around. There is a hanger rack hanger. There was a large full-length mirror, a spacious washroom, a makeup table and mirror, a cafe table, and two bright lights. The bathtub is so big that you can almost float your feet in it, a stylish shower that pours down from the ceiling, and a spacious and bright washstand. Surprisingly, there was no mold at all. There is no mold or dust behind the sink. It is well maintained. The room is warm with underfloor heating. It was fun to watch YouTube on TV. ·meal Breakfast is a light buffet served on the ba*****t floor from 7am to 11am. Although it is less than a business hotel, it will satisfy your hunger. The chef is kind. The menu includes scrambled eggs, sausage, wakame soup, gyoza, prided potatoes, white bread, yogurt, orange juice, coffee, and a break. I don't have anything I want to eat, but it's a beautiful restaurant and a comfortable place, so I can relax. ·service Check-in is done at the reception on the third floor. Many Koreans don't smile, but they greeted me with cute smiles. Our staff will guide you regarding Wifi, breakfast, and check-out. I was also able to store my luggage. ・Points that caught my attention Since I was staying for several nights, I asked them to clean my room, but they wouldn't change the sheets on my futon. The futon looked clean. Other than that, cleaning is perfect.

This entertainment option allowed me to relax and unwind with my favorite shows during my downtime. However, there were a few areas that could be improved upon. The hotel only had one washing machine and dryer available, which sometimes made it challenging to find an open slot. It would be beneficial if the management considered adding more machines to accommodate the laundry needs of guests. Additionally, while there were two nearby 7-Elevens and a Kyochon, I found the surrounding restaurants to be quite pricey. It would be fantastic if there were more affordable dining options available in the vicinity. This would enhance the overall experience for guests who prefer more budget-friendly dining choices. Lastly, during my stay, there was some ongoing construction nearby. Although it didn't significantly impact my overall experience, it's worth noting for those who prioritize a quiet atmosphere. Nonetheless, I believe this was a temporary situation that is likely to be resolved in the near future. In conclusion, Travelodge Myeongdong City Hall provided a pleasant stay with comfortable accommodations, friendly staff, and convenient amenities. However, improvements in terms of laundry facilities and the availability of affordable dining options would make me more likely to choose this hotel again in the future. I hope the management takes these suggestions into consideration for an even better guest experience.

Stayed for 4 days there while visiting Seoul. Hôtel very well located. City center. Close to the main subway line, 20 min by walk to the Palace, and closer to Myeongdong district (for shopping…) I didn’t have breakfast there, but close by you have a lot of restaurants, coffee shops and grocery shops. The hotel also offers to keep my suitcase for a week while I traveled other places. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Would recommend

The room was slightly smelly the day i check-in, but there’s a quality air fresher spray for clothes and room, pretty nice. The trainee speaks fluent English, the service is excellent. Got CU convenience store and Starbucks on ground floor, pretty nice. But the location- to the closest subway (Hoehyeon), you have to cross underground, not really friendly for carrying luggage.

We stayed here for a 7 night trip to Seoul as it was our first time in the city. The location was perfect: small market area behind it with restaurants, convenient store right around the corner with everything you’d need, and multiple train stations within 10 min walking distance. Compared to other hotels we stayed at for the remainder of our trip, this hotel definitely had the best location. City hall is about a 10-15 minute walk and there’s other restaurants/attractions along the way such as a nice palace. I had seen reviews about protests occurring nearby due to close proximity of city hall, but we personally didn’t see any. The staff at the hotel was SUPER nice and helpful. Any time we’d need a taxi they would be more than eager to help us. The woman working at the gym was also very kind in helping me with room requests unrelated to the gym, which was very nice of her. The gym is clean and decently spacious for a hotel gym. The spas are separated by male and female but it was one of my favorite parts about the stay- there’s a hot tub, cold bath, sauna, and pampering area. We had breakfast at the restaurant numerous times because it was much better than your typical hotel breakfast- I recommend trying it atleast once (roughly 20 usd per person). May be worth it to add the breakfast package if possible when booking. The room itself was small, but manageable for a trip where you’re typically out doing things anyways. Even though our room faced the street, we never heard the commotion of the street at all, nor did we ever hear others on our hotel floor. Overall I would definitely stay here again.

Close to the bus stop, the room was spacious and cleaner than I thought. (If you see the sound of the corridor, you can't soundproof if you have a person in the next room) But it's a strange sound. It's like a humming ventilator or a fridge swing, but it's not that sound (I pulled out all the code and I did all the stars -_-). I decided to go over the weekend to watch videos on my laptop, and I could hear them loudly, and I saw them with an airpot, and the airpot was not small, but I could hear them through it, and I finally bought an earplug at night. It sounds very fine with earplugs, but this is a bit high frequency, but it's a noise that rings ... I was wondering if I would ask you to change the room, but when I went out to the hallway, it was like a sound all over the building ... ha This is the only white advantage for real white points. I'm not really sensitive, but I started to care once, and it was overstressㅠㅠ

The gym is really large and is equipped with lots of machines; there is even a separate room for yoga and stretching. The hotel is in an excellent location, the front desk people are wonderful and accommodating, the room is beautiful. The room also has a cooking area stocked with knives, a cutting board and pans that is very convenient. The hotel also has American/Chinese style wall outlets which is also quite convenient compared to other hotels I’ve stayed in with Korean style wall outlets. However, the cleaning crew comes once every 3 days. We found a chocolate wrapper and a condom wrapper in the room. (Again the front desk receptionist was wonderful and took care of the leftover trash for us and gave us a free bath bomb as compensation.) As the hotel is right on a walking street, it’s quite noisy all night. If you don’t mind street ambiance/white noise when you sleep, it’s fine. The front desk is also only open from 9am to 6pm which is a bit strange. You also can’t use your own bathroom bombs, you need to buy them from the hotel. In the spa bathtub, the hot water flows extremely slowly and leaks out of the tub a bit from the faucet as it flows. The knob of the bathtub also comes off very easy. The shower also floods the bathroom very easily. And the comforter on the bed is a weird texture that makes a crinkly sound when you move. Again, the room is just as beautiful as the pictures show, the floor is nicely heated, and the receptionist went above and beyond for us. My main issues were with the hotel itself.

ENA suite was a nice hotel to stay at just out (up a slight hill) of exit 9 (elevator access) from City hall station. The staff were friendly and understood a bit of English. The room was huge with a soft bed, the washroom was clean and nice with a bidet. Room service (cleaning) was offered everyday with water bottle refills and amenities. There is a small gym and pool in the basement, but they close pretty early at night. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

Excellent location in the heart of Seoul with easy access to temples, public transportation, and food. We had a suite that was smaller than most normal rooms at other Marriott properties (especially autograph tier) akin to staying in a New York or Hong Kong hotel. The size of the room was disappointing but ultimately it is a great location. The Boulangerie on the way to the metro is great 👌🏻

I recently had a pleasant stay at Travelodge Myeongdong City Hall during my visit to Seoul. Overall, the hotel provided comfortable accommodations and convenient amenities. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and efficient, with the reception staff being friendly and proficient in English. It was refreshing to have a hassle-free experience upon arrival and departure. One of the highlights of the hotel was the presence of water dispensers on each floor. This feature made it easy to refill my water bottle without having to constantly purchase bottled water. The shower heater in the room worked well, quickly heating up the water and providing a satisfying high-pressure shower experience. It was a small but appreciated detail that added to the comfort of my stay. Another positive aspect was the availability of Netflix in the room. This entertainment option allowed me to relax and unwind with my favorite shows during my downtime. However, there were a few areas that could be improved upon. The hotel only had one washing machine and dryer available, which sometimes made it challenging to find an open slot. It would be beneficial if the management considered adding more machines to accommodate the laundry needs of guests. Additionally, while there were two nearby 7-Elevens and a Kyochon, I found the surrounding restaurants to be quite pricey. It would be fantastic if there were more affordable dining options available in the vicinity. This would enhance the overall experience for guests who prefer more budget-friendly dining choices. Lastly, during my stay, there was some ongoing construction nearby. Although it didn't significantly impact my overall experience, it's worth noting for those who prioritize a quiet atmosphere. Nonetheless, I believe this was a temporary situation that is likely to be resolved in the near future. In conclusion, Travelodge Myeongdong City Hall provided a pleasant stay with comfortable accommodations, friendly staff, and convenient amenities. However, improvements in terms of laundry facilities and the availability of affordable dining options would make me more likely to choose this hotel again in the future. I hope the management takes these suggestions into consideration for an even better guest experience.
