But must say the rooms are clean and like that they have a laundromat within the hotel building, and a common shared microwave at the guest room level lift lobby.
Buffet lunch at the hotel restaurant was great.
The only disappointment was that I informed the hotel during the booking, we are here for my wife's 50th birthday during our stay. And requested for a small surprise for her to keep as memory could be arranged. But not even a simple birthday card or small fruit welcome basket was offered.

My husband and I booked this hotel on a day we checked in cause of the previous hotel we booked was horrible. Skypark hotel reviewed and confirmed my booking very quickly.
The first thing I’ve noticed that it’s super clean. The room isn’t big, but enough for two adults with 2 suitcases. We had a lovely room keeper who cleaned the room every day. You can find everything you need in the room, except for a toothbrush. However, you can go to the check-in desk and buy one there. They sell other items too.
Also, one of the biggest advantages of this hotel is its location. Close to two subway stations and a couple of bus stations. Around you can find multiple convenient stores, coffee places, restaurants and so on.
We truly loved our stay. Thanks!

Location: First of all, it was located in front of the bar of Chungmuro Station, so the accessibility was very good! As soon as I got off the station, it was easy to find because it was right there, and it was easy to move to the subway. In addition, there are many food nearby, so I ordered it to be delivered in the evening. At night, I went out with my friends and played in my favorite bar. 🍻 Room interior, cleanliness: First of all, the room stayed in a room for three people, but it was wider than I thought, so three people went to sleep. It was enough, very neat and clean. There was also a table, so it was easy to eat, and it was okay to bring a laptop and see the work! The bathroom is clean and Netflix is available (you need to use your own ID). There is a washing machine, induction, and sink, so you can cook and wash! (I haven't used it, but,) it was just new and tidy because the bathroom was just built. Is it a little unusual that the sink is on the outside? It wasn't uncomfortable, but it wasn't as noisy as Hongdae or Sinchon. It was nice to be quiet at night, not like a noisy downtown area, but because of its good accessibility and location, it was convenient to use public transportation and places to eat or cafes around. It was nice to have a lot! I stayed with my friends, but I think it would be suitable if you are looking for a place to stay for long-distance business trips or business purposes.. !

The Good Great location. Great location to enjoy Myeongdong street. Night market of Myeongdong is so lively and beautiful and unique experience for Seoul trip. Obviously it feels much safer to stay at hotel nearby. As for hotel, they got nice wine shop at first floor. Their lobby located on low floor and not 1st floor. Although, there is guardman on 1st floor who seems to be reliable. Roof top bar is also in good prices unlike usual ”hotel price”. I stayed at ”low bed” room which seems to be unusual for Korea. It was comfortable and that different experience was fun. The BEST Staff are amazing. I personally think Shilla are in line of Lotte's rivary. (two of top Korean hotel brands) Staffs at this hotel were so amazing. They seemed to have great balance with character. I've seen staff who are sweet and very friendly. While I've also seen staff with sharp and precise manner. Shila staff are professional with more ”trained” manner. Very polite. I have no complain but the friendliness is always more welcome for me. The lady at rooftop bar was a goddess. Not only she was beautiful(excuse me). Her works were very well oriented and professional. Constantly eye checking on the floor, checkin on guests condition and making sure everything is all right, a friendly communication with foreign kids. It was past 11pm and they were about to close if I remember correctly. Unless a five star luxury hotel, at this time of the business, staff are chatting, ready to set free from work. No, not at all. They acted as if they just opened the bar. I really felt strange. The Bad Breakfast is operated by a tenant restaurant. So totally different experience. It kinda breaks the whole experience of hotel and basically, it's tenant restaurant so they won't treat you like hotel guest. They are polite but can't response anything to do with hotel. If you've travelled Korea or Seould before, I beleive there are no stress. but if you are first timer, there could be more helpful service for foreigner, easier access, easier location etc. There are so many different hotels in Myeongdong so I can't give comparison. Although, it's Korean brand and I believe it worth a stay.

Location was superb with airport bus located right beneath hotel. They dont provide disposable toothbrush so u have to bring ur own. Another downside is also that the pillows are flat and have to rely on two pillows just to have the normal comfy sleep. Other than that everything else is great! Conveniece store located just 50m away from doorstep too.

Overall the stay was very good with few minor details that could use improvement.
1. The hotel common areas had a very strong perfume smell - but this seemed typical in Korea? Not my thing.
2. The light turns on automatically in front of the room door, so if you got up to use the bathroom at night, it would turn on. I didn’t like that. I like to get up as dark as possible at night.
3. When we bought wine to in the bar to bring to our room, it could only come in plastic cups. We are not teenagers, we are adults who can take care of a glass of wine without breaking it - felt it was patronising and no do not want to drink wine from a plastic cup. And we didn’t want to drink it in the bar because of the perfume smell.
4. We came to the breakfast at 6:30 since we were in a hurry to go to the airport - and the staff was so slow, it took 6 minutes to be seated even though the restaurant was almost empty. They couldn’t find our room number on a paper list that looked very unorganised.
5. Would prefer bigger towels at the pool

Over the last two years, I stayed probably about two or three weeks in total at the Imperial Palace in Itaewon. I highly recommend it to anybody looking for a nice hotel in Itaewon, Seoul! During the heights of the pandemic as well as during more normal times, the service at the hotel was always outstanding. Rooms are large, fairly quiet, modernly furnished, spotlessly clean and come with super comfortable beds and spacious bathrooms. I very much loved the view from the rooms overlooking the street. There's a coffee machine in each room and if you run out of capsules, you can buy more at the lobby. Internet is great and the workspace is okayish, but not the kind of setting in which you'd like to work for hours. Go to a coffee shop instead. There are countless coffee shops, restaurants, bars and convenience stores within walking distance. Itaewon Metro Station is only a few minutes walk away. Staff was always super friendly and professional and speaks perfect English.

Very good access to public transport, both bus and subway. Unfortunately, rooms facing the street are very noisy, especially when there are small car races going on at night. So always ask for a room at the back of the hotel. Practically furnished rooms. Pretty clean apart from a few outliers (see pictures). The lounge is nicely furnished with a reading corner and billiards, but it is brutally loud. The music and the babble of voices linger on the bare walls. The elevator control is from the Bronze Age. No detection of full elevators which then stop unnecessarily three times along the way. No detection if no one is waiting for the elevator. In short, you unfortunately spend an unnecessary amount of time waiting for the elevator.

It's a bit of a walk from Hongdae Station, but with plenty of restaurants, cafes, and convenience stores along the way, the walk is enjoyable. The staff were very friendly, and everything was comfortable, though the room with two beds was a bit small. I had a great stay and would book here again if I visit Korea.

If taking subway you can head to exit 10 of jamsil station and you can go through the lotte world mall before street level, head straight, take the escalator next to the aquarium up, exit the main doors and cross the road to the left for the hotel. (It it not sheltered/ connected directly between the mall/ station and hotel). We took the side entrance lift up to the reception but if you go further down you’ll see the main car drop off and concierge.
The staff service was really friendly, although at the check in reception we were given a list of rules and asked if we had any questions, so the hotel vibe felt quite formal and stiff. Was concerned about the rules on the swimming pool booking and bringing outside food in, but the staff around were kind and welcoming so we soon felt at ease. Was able to rent the required swim cap free of charge.
Room was classy, spacious and bed and bath comfortable. We booked the lake view room but one can only see it at the side when nearer to the windows. We had indicated we were celebrating our wedding anniversary but there were no special greetings in the room or wishes at reception, which normally hotels would as part of their hospitality.
The lake view from breakfast and the pool was beautiful! Heard it would be even more beautiful in spring! We enjoyed walking around the lake and exploring the restaurants on the other side. Great shopping location next to the lotte mall
The swimming pool is small with one lane for laps and others for relaxing. There’s a heated jacuzzi outside and within the beautiful changing area was also has a hot bath and another neat amenities. The gym was huge and had so many machines!
All in all a great and beautiful stay! Wish we stayed longer than one night! The only con is that you have the transfer lifts at the reception level each time you go out or in so you’ll just have to meet and greet a lot of people along the way.

GGuest UserMy first time at Le Méridien Seoul , new hotel , 6 months old , super clean , great rooms facilities , good buffet breakfast , maybe a bit under staffed during rush hours but staff were very nice . Superb lounge at the 15 floor with very friendly and helpful staff special thanks to Mrs Sharon Kim and Mrs Rachael Kim for there valued help for restaurants and tips for side seen and shopping , Will go back for sure next time I will in Seoul !
GGuest Useri would highly recommend nine tree hotel insadong for its excellent location. it is somewhat in the middle of central seoul and allows easy access to the happening touristy areas. cleanliness was great too. i must say as well that the hotel service is impeccable and we had the wonderful opportunity to join a tour organised by the hotel to the Blue House (Cheong Wa Dae). the hotel staff who led the tour were so enthusiastic and ensured that everyone had a good time.
SssylviaThe hotel was a bit small, but it had everything I needed and it was in the perfect location. Located in the heart of Myeongdong shopping street and also very conveniently located next to the metro station. Would recommend to solo travellers.
RRaeleneNear to the Airport Hongdae station so very convenient. Love the vibes n shopping at Hongdae not forgetting the food too. It’s a station away from Sinchon where the beautiful Ewha women’s university is at and many good food there too! Love the cat cafe there too
AAnonymous UserLocation is more suitable for business travellers who want to work & commute in financial district, otherwise there’s not much to do in this whole area as it’s very hard to find a decent or simple eatery which opens near late night compared to living in Dongdaemun and Gangnam. Our room is located high and we can have a glance of the nearby buildings and overlooked further. They don’t provide full amenities compared to 2 other 5-stars hotels we had stayed in during this trip. So prep yourself with our necessary amenities like earbuds, combs, earplugs, sewing kits if needed in any case..
The hotel room is quite spacious and toilet is equipped with a bathtub which we didn’t get to utilise at all but my child had once because she wanted to play a bath bomb for 10 mins. Other items like ironing board, iron, Nespresso coffee machine, distilled water bottles, beverages and condiments, safe box, fridge were all provided.
And I find it quite troubling as there were too many ‘big-country’ tourists either staying in the hotel or those living in Seoul going to the Hyundai Seoul mall to buy luxury goods. And the entire mall is crazily flooded and packed with youngsters on the day of our check-in and the next day. Some came to window-shop while most others came in for food and perhaps after meals, to seek shelter and shield from the cold. You won’t be believed this you can’t even find a place to eat as all fast food eateries, snacks counters and restaurants were fully unavailable. There were basically long queues everywhere you go. Ended up my super famished poor child had to walk a long way with us & venture out in the cold to find any available restaurant to have our dinner.
International breakfast is served daily at L5 and the buffet spread is limited compared to the one we stayed & had in Dongdaemun. We had to pay additional 55,000KRW (SGD55) per day for our young child to dine in with us as her breakfast was not included in our accommodation package. I think it’s really too expensive and given that we always came down only at 9.30am and the breakfast stopped at 10am sharp. The food she always had was a small bowl of cereal, 4 small bite-sized hash-browns and a glass of milk only where she had to eat fast within 30mins before they closed for the day. For such price paid, it’s totally not worth it and we can’t avoid paying lesser despite they knew we only had 30 mins left to dine.
Overall the concierge service crews’ attitude and professionalism were excellent and Fairmont had the best staffs with great service i encountered during our 3 weeks stay across 3 different 5-stars hotels. I wished I will have another chance to stay here again but the price for each night is SGD450++, which is really expensive.
MMatthew LimHad a wonderful stay at Hotel Manu. Love the location of Hotel Manu as it was only a 10 minutes walk to reach Seoul station via the direct overhead bridge. From Seoul station, it was a breeze to get to the common locations like Dongdaemun, Myeongdong and Hongdae with the direct subway lines available.
Stopped by Hotel Manu’s Restaurant for a late night dinner one night and was really impressed with their pizzas and the variety of craft beers available.
Family twin room was really spacious, with plenty of space to move about even with the luggages laid out around the room. Notably, there is quite a significant amount of space by the windows which is perfect for putting our shopping loots without crowding up room space. Shower water pressure was great too with hot water readily available.g
Beds were really comfortable too. If anything, Hotel Manu pillows were a little too soft and offered little support while sleeping. If not, everything else about Hotel Manu was perfect. We would definitely come back the next time we are in Seoul!
GGuest UserWe enjoyed our room the most and felt that we had a good night's rest here. This is a semi budget friendly hotel that is close to the palace/park areas of Seoul. The room was clean and well appointed with two comfy beds, two good pillows per bed, a chair, cabinets and drawers to store stuff, a big tv, robes and sandals. The bathroom was nice too with good shower pressure and one of those shower valves where you can pick the temperature you want. The toilet flushed quietly and there was plenty of shower space. There are frosted windows in the bathroom which help let in natural day light but if your partner uses it at night you will see the lights come on.
The location was decent but the metro was further than expected. When we booked trip.com showed us that it was 330m from Dongmyo Station but it was actually closest to jongno 5 entrance 2 which was a 10 minute walk away from the hotel. The palace and Hanbok areas are very close to the hotel and there are frequent busses in the area to take you to the major attractions and areas. Nearby the hotel there are many convenience stores but there are limited restaurant options outside of coffee shops.
The breakfast at the hotel was ok. We found there was a good variety but if you went too early (7:30 am) nothing was out yet and if you went later (8:30) everything was limited. The hot items were not as hot as we liked them to be despite the heaters so it might be worth getting early and getting your food when it comes out so it is nice and hot. There were scrambled eggs, fried eggs, marbled cheese the one day, stuff to make salad, an onion soup, mushroom soup, fried rice, a hot vegetable (one day it was potato and the next it was mushrooms), hot dogs, cut up fruit, bread/toaster, cut up muffins, orange juice, coffee and tea. There was enough to get by and there are pricey a la carte options. The restaurant was a little drafty when we went but it was just enough to get us started each day.
The staff at the hotel were friendly and allowed us to store our baggage when we arrived early so we could go out and explore the city. When we actually checked in it was smooth and quick. The elevators are a little tricky at the hotel and you have to pay attention to which elevator is closest to you and press that button. There are two elevators but there are two separate buttons to call them so it is worthwhile looking where the elevators are and choosing accordingly. The hotel also has a coin laundry facility and a meeting area. The lobby is also nicely appointed with furniture and a small drinks shop but being there in December we wouldn't want to hang out there long.
QQuakka PikkaThis hotel is conveniently located in Sina, there’s direct bus to gangnam main shopping district. There are plenty of food options around the hotel too. The only downside is their shampoo, conditioner and body wash are all made in the shape of a soap. It’s rly hard to use them. There’re no toiletries too, you need to bring ur own.
GGuest UserStay here in early December. The room has a floor heater, but it wasn’t strong enough and I was freezing all night—luckily, only stayed for one night. There’s an air conditioner, but it's labeled for cooling only, so it didn’t help with heating the room. The room also has a small upstairs area, but it's not for sleeping. The washing machine is labeled as broken.
The location is a bit distance from the metro but acceptable, bus stop is nearer. The front desk can help store luggage for early check-ins or post-check-out, and they also provide a universal adapter if needed.
Overall, it was okay
4442sanaaeI loved the fact that the location is perfect for a quite night as well as it’s so closed to Namsan tower for a beautiful walk in morning, Myeongdong for shopping and sightseeing in evening time and many places I can get to in less than 15 mins The guest house is perfectly clean , they have a healthy breakfast as well as a projector where I played my favorite movies at night before heading to sleep. The family are so nice and always there to help me with everything I needed ^_^ I recommend this place for long term and short term stays~~
