Lotte Hotel Seoul Executive Tower

Myeong-dong Seoul|2.05km from Seoul Lantern Festival
Stayed at the Lotte Executive Tower just after the holidays, in a Premier Double Room. Pros: - The entrance of the Executive Tower is absolutely beautiful. Same with the Main Tower. Elegant, refined, beautiful art work. The executive tower check-in desks are on the 15th floor. - Easy access by escalator directly into the Lotte Department Store (from where the escalator takes you to, hang a right to get to the famous food hall!) - Location can’t be beat. Directly across from Eujiro Station (1) and around the corner from Myeong-Dong Walking Street / Night Market and several 7-11s (which are almost as good as the 7-11s in Japan). - Our room was beautiful, spacious, thoughtfully designed and decorated. Very modern touches and upscale finishes. A chandelier in the bathroom?? - Immaculate housekeeping. - Excellent temperature and very strong water pressure in the shower! - Appreciate the 2 complimentary bottles of Evian every day. - Fast wifi speeds. Cons: - Love the Diptyque toiletries but wish they weren’t the communal / shared bottles. There were bits of dried lotion crusted on the pump from the previous occupant. - Weird that neither lobby had a single chair to sit on. What’s up with that? Comes off a bit inhospitable. This isn’t the type of place to attract non-guests / loiterers. A bench wouldn’t kill anyone! - For a 5* hotel and the price we’re paying, it’s disappointing that there is a surcharge should you need a toothbrush, toothpaste or use of the sauna (!!). They claim the charge for toothbrush and paste is to prevent wastage but surely you could just have these small items available upon request at the front desk? - The doormen’s manners range from formal and friendly (some) to indifferent (most) to downright hostile (many), especially if you are not a Korean speaker, as many don’t speak English. I’m not arrogant enough to think they should speak English in a non-English speaking country, but a smile is universal, you know? Would likely stay here again at the right price and given the location.

Every time I go to South Korea, I live in their home, I can cook by myself, the boss speaks Chinese, it is safe to live there, the room is clean, and the toothpaste inside is very easy to use. I want to know where I bought the toothpaste? I originally planned to go to South Korea from March 13th to 17th. Now the epidemic situation can't be controlled. I'm really drunk. When the epidemic situation ends, I will fly to Korea and live in your home. I am used to a friendly shop.

very close to the green line and near tourist attractions The room is spacious, clean, comfortable, the price is very affordable. But the surrounding area is not much of a nightlife attraction. There is a clothing wholesale center open from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM, which is considered very good.

The landlord speaks some Chinese and English and is also accessible. It's super close to Dongdaemun Station of Subway Line 4. It's not far from Gwangjang Market. It's a ten-minute walk. Very delicious. The hotel is clean. It is a bit like a homestay but very welcoming. Will consider staying here next time

The overall environment of the homestay is good, the room space is relatively small, the bunk we live in, the bed and quilt we live in are not too comfortable to sleep. Overall it's ok, similar to a youth hostel. The boss is very enthusiastic and helped us solve many problems. Gwangjang Market is across from the door

The location is convenient. Can walk to JW Marriott end of DDM in 5 minutes, the 5 gu Metro station is just right outside the motel also, which is handy to go to Anguk area, to visit the Onion Cafe. For shopping around DDM area, it is around 15 minutes walk, but this end of DDM has no shading, so a bit hot if walk to DDM design center. The shops in DDM open until 3-5am so its handy to find supermarket after mid night or grab a coffee, or buy some clothes after mid night. Overall its easy location. But the motel need to include a map to find it as the door sign is in Korean so not easy to find the motel front unless someone knows Korean. Lucky the taxi driver took me to the front door and showed the entrance, else its not easy to know which door to go in for the motel. Local shops around the motel are basic. Walk to DDM has more choices to buy food or normal items.

It’s very close to Exit 3 of Jongno Fifth Street, about three or four minutes. It’s easy to find Dongdaemun, but note that you have to go through a small alley to the guesthouse. Inside is the red light district in South Korea. Single girls really need to be careful. The hotel environment is still Very good, relatively small and mini, check-in and check-out are very autonomous, in general it is very good, not eaten for breakfast, it seems to be milk and cereal.
