The Good Great location. Great location to enjoy Myeongdong street. Night market of Myeongdong is so lively and beautiful and unique experience for Seoul trip. Obviously it feels much safer to stay at hotel nearby. As for hotel, they got nice wine shop at first floor. Their lobby located on low floor and not 1st floor. Although, there is guardman on 1st floor who seems to be reliable. Roof top bar is also in good prices unlike usual ”hotel price”. I stayed at ”low bed” room which seems to be unusual for Korea. It was comfortable and that different experience was fun. The BEST Staff are amazing. I personally think Shilla are in line of Lotte's rivary. (two of top Korean hotel brands) Staffs at this hotel were so amazing. They seemed to have great balance with character. I've seen staff who are sweet and very friendly. While I've also seen staff with sharp and precise manner. Shila staff are professional with more ”trained” manner. Very polite. I have no complain but the friendliness is always more welcome for me. The lady at rooftop bar was a goddess. Not only she was beautiful(excuse me). Her works were very well oriented and professional. Constantly eye checking on the floor, checkin on guests condition and making sure everything is all right, a friendly communication with foreign kids. It was past 11pm and they were about to close if I remember correctly. Unless a five star luxury hotel, at this time of the business, staff are chatting, ready to set free from work. No, not at all. They acted as if they just opened the bar. I really felt strange. The Bad Breakfast is operated by a tenant restaurant. So totally different experience. It kinda breaks the whole experience of hotel and basically, it's tenant restaurant so they won't treat you like hotel guest. They are polite but can't response anything to do with hotel. If you've travelled Korea or Seould before, I beleive there are no stress. but if you are first timer, there could be more helpful service for foreigner, easier access, easier location etc. There are so many different hotels in Myeongdong so I can't give comparison. Although, it's Korean brand and I believe it worth a stay.

Location: First of all, it was located in front of the bar of Chungmuro Station, so the accessibility was very good! As soon as I got off the station, it was easy to find because it was right there, and it was easy to move to the subway. In addition, there are many food nearby, so I ordered it to be delivered in the evening. At night, I went out with my friends and played in my favorite bar. 🍻 Room interior, cleanliness: First of all, the room stayed in a room for three people, but it was wider than I thought, so three people went to sleep. It was enough, very neat and clean. There was also a table, so it was easy to eat, and it was okay to bring a laptop and see the work! The bathroom is clean and Netflix is available (you need to use your own ID). There is a washing machine, induction, and sink, so you can cook and wash! (I haven't used it, but,) it was just new and tidy because the bathroom was just built. Is it a little unusual that the sink is on the outside? It wasn't uncomfortable, but it wasn't as noisy as Hongdae or Sinchon. It was nice to be quiet at night, not like a noisy downtown area, but because of its good accessibility and location, it was convenient to use public transportation and places to eat or cafes around. It was nice to have a lot! I stayed with my friends, but I think it would be suitable if you are looking for a place to stay for long-distance business trips or business purposes.. !

The rooms are business-class, but it is a cost-effective hotel. It is located in a great location for exploring Seoul, including Ikseon-dong Cafe Street, Insa-dong, palaces, and Jongmyo Shrine, and is well connected to public transportation. It is also a place where bars and restaurants are concentrated. The location is so good that you can see anywhere in Seoul within walking distance.

My husband and I booked this hotel on a day we checked in cause of the previous hotel we booked was horrible. Skypark hotel reviewed and confirmed my booking very quickly. The first thing I’ve noticed that it’s super clean. The room isn’t big, but enough for two adults with 2 suitcases. We had a lovely room keeper who cleaned the room every day. You can find everything you need in the room, except for a toothbrush. However, you can go to the check-in desk and buy one there. They sell other items too. Also, one of the biggest advantages of this hotel is its location. Close to two subway stations and a couple of bus stations. Around you can find multiple convenient stores, coffee places, restaurants and so on. We truly loved our stay. Thanks!

I have stayed in Dongdaemun more than 50 times on business trips. So I guess I've conquered almost all the hotels in Dongdaemun? I've stayed there so many times. Among them, Ashley House is the No.1 in hospitality and convenience. Price range. It was a comfortable hotel that I don't want to think of any other than Ashley House from now on. Let me review my impressions in detail! [Convenience] The subway station is close, the bus stop is close, and the bus stop to Incheon Airport is close. There is no trouble with access to anything. It is also located on the well-known APM PLACE, so you can arrive by just saying a word to the taxi driver from Seoul. It is the most convenient place to go night shopping in Dongdaemun. To go to NyuNyu, which has recently become popular among Japanese people, just take the elevator down and take the bus right in front of you, and you will arrive in 5 minutes without walking. There is only one elevator to the hotel, so access to the room is great and not tiring! [About the room] The room has a microwave, a water server with hot and cold water, a washing machine, a kitchen, and even a microwave. There is a transformer so you won't have any trouble charging your phone. I've stayed at hotels that are twice as expensive as this one, but none of them have everything. If I wanted to eat ramen at the hotel in the middle of the night, I would fill it with hot water at a convenience store and bring it into the hotel. I was very grateful to have it in the room. The sunshine is excellent and the view is great. There is a full-length mirror and a makeup mirror to help me get ready, so it was helpful. I thought the little considerations were wonderful. The calm space was so comfortable that it felt like I was at home when I came on vacation. The cleanliness was 100 points! On the contrary, I felt like I was really okay with this price. 🥺 [Hospitality] This is the part that impressed me the most. This hotel does not have a front desk, so when you make a reservation, the owner will send you a secret number. I was always in contact with the owner on LINE in advance. The owner of Fariy House speaks Japanese very well, so if you have any problems or questions, he will explain them very carefully. The return bus was to Gimpo, but I couldn't find any information on the internet, so I asked the owner, who gave me detailed information with an easy-to-understand map and timetable, and even asked if I could show me to the bus stop. 😭 I'm very grateful for the owner's consideration, which makes me understand why Fariy House is a popular hotel. I was worried about what I would do if it became too popular and I couldn't get a reservation, but I'd like to express my gratitude for finding this hotel, which made my work go so smoothly. Very good access to public transport, both bus and subway. Unfortunately, rooms facing the street are very noisy, especially when there are small car races going on at night. So always ask for a room at the back of the hotel. Practically furnished rooms. Pretty clean apart from a few outliers (see pictures). The lounge is nicely furnished with a reading corner and billiards, but it is brutally loud. The music and the babble of voices linger on the bare walls. The elevator control is from the Bronze Age. No detection of full elevators which then stop unnecessarily three times along the way. No detection if no one is waiting for the elevator. In short, you unfortunately spend an unnecessary amount of time waiting for the elevator.

Room no. 1811, stayed 9 nights for a big rest. Woke me up really early at first 2 mornings as railways and working sites are nearby. You have to plug the earbuds which the hotel provides to minimise the noise from these. Apart from that, the room is clean and modern, quite comfy, walkable to the train station and shopping plaza(around 500 meters). I didn't use the pool and restaurant so I don't want to comment but the room service were amazing especially the fries 🍟 and burgers. Thanks to the manager Sue who is accommodating and helpful to changed the room twice for me which let me have a good rest. Overall a pleasant stayed.

Very convenient location to go Everland. Very comfortable hotel and clean to have a good rest after exploring the whole day at Everland. The next day could enter the park without long journey from Seoul. However, the breakfast served was continental breakfast, not buffet breakfast as stated. Very disappointed as spent a lot purchasing the package with breakfast. Besides the breakfast served, all the other aspects are satisfied. Heat patch was given for every guest. Check in pricess is smooth and fast. Luggage storage is provided as well. Bought bhc fried chicken and ribs where located just behind the hotel.

Its good located and facilitated for visitors who visit Everland. Its very nearby Everland and well prepared for family travelers with kids. There room type with bunk bed which is perfectly fitted with kids, and playroom. But there is one point which is difficult to understand. First, additional payment is required for parking, even for people who stayed overnight.
