Location 5 stars, access dongdaemun metrol stn from hotel B1 / LL. Many places to shop nearby. Clean and spacious room. Hotel is bless with many good staff that speak good english, attentive and helpful! Only complaint is I am given a room that face the wall of next building. Advise to request for room with at least a view of the city.

Excellent. The check-in and check out was quick and easy. Breakfast was abit expensive but quite good. The room was abit spacious, and clean. Location was about 6min slow walk away from DDP station. exit 12 lift. Location was walkable to Gwangjang market for food. Kudos to the cleanliness, location and amenities.

Service staff (Jayden Park) was very unfriendly and unhelpful , when we asked him to point out to us , the location of the bus stop which would lead us to the airport limousine bus (to Incheon airport). We were very lost as tourists and did not know Korean language at all, and the need to know the exact bus stop point (in order not to miss our flight) is of utmost importance . The counter staff Jayden Park also gave us a very unwelcoming and unfriendly look when we insisted for his help to show us the bus stop location (which he reluctantly did after our many attempts , which was a very stressful experience for me as a tourist), it made me feel insecure and an immense upset feeling , totally unexpected for a five star Pullman hotel standard. Please review your counter staff performance . Not recommended for tourists.

The hotel staff are incredibly friendly, polite and helpful, they really make you feel like home at the hotel. The housekeeping attendant is meticulous, with high attention to details in her work and keep the room clean to the highest standard, never seen this in any of the other top rated hotels. Important to mention that both current and past Chinese leaders stayed in this establishment during their various visits to Korea. The services in this hotel are just top of the class.

The hotel is actually a bit old. I booked the cheapest room at the beginning. If you see that there is no large bathtub in the bedroom according to Ctrip, you probably shouldn’t choose it. The reasons are as follows: 1. Not in the main building, but in the spa building. 2. The floor is low and the light is not good. 3. You have to go to the main building for breakfast, although it is not far away. But the experience is not good. After staying for the first night, I changed the room the next day and said it was an upgrade. The upgrade fee given by the front desk was about RMB 3,000. Here I would like to praise Ctrip's online customer service, communicated directly to return the original room, and re-booked a better suite. After all, we are not short of these hundreds or thousands. The difference in experience is huge! Thank you customer service!

My first time at Le Méridien Seoul , new hotel , 6 months old , super clean , great rooms facilities , good buffet breakfast , maybe a bit under staffed during rush hours but staff were very nice . Superb lounge at the 15 floor with very friendly and helpful staff special thanks to Mrs Sharon Kim and Mrs Rachael Kim for there valued help for restaurants and tips for side seen and shopping , Will go back for sure next time I will in Seoul !

Very handy location, close to both Dongdaemun station & DDP Plaza. Have great restaurants nearby, it has hyundai city outlet & duty free nearby as well. The breakfast was great too, offering various food but+ fruits! The water pressure was amazing really. Highly recommended!

It's a good hotel on a budget. Has a very homely breakfast and water dispenser to fill up your bottles with ice and water. Also has robes to use as pyjamas. Very no frills. Don't expect service from the staff. We expected to be able to check in earlier when we reached if the room was available. We reached only about 15mins to our check in time but were told to wait at the lobby till 1600. I am not sure what the fixation is about for the check in time. If the room is available, then let the guest have it. First time we have experienced this in any country.

The hotel location is perfect and it is right infront of the lift exit 4 from DDP train station. It has airport bus stop right in front of the hotel to Incheon Airport. It may take 2 hours traveling time to airport because the bus will drop by many places around Seoul before heading to airport. The room is spacious and clean.

Service was inconsistent - sometimes the staff were really nice and friendly and other times they were plain rude and disrespectful to you. When I first entered my room the smell took me aback. It smelled like a mix of sweat and wet socks. The sheets were crumpled and weren’t super clean either. The bathtub had yellow stains which threw me off as I was looking forward to a midnight soak. Basic amenities were given, which was great. The housekeeping ladies were really sweet as well. It’s a 5 minute walking distance to the train station so location was not so bad. Sadly I don’t think I’d book again as it was not that worth for the price.

Transportation is convenient, next to Exit 6 and 7 of Dongdaemun Subway Station. The hotel service staff are enthusiastic, especially an old gentleman who will try his best to help you. The reception staff can communicate in simple English. Although the room facilities are a bit old, they are clean and tidy and are cleaned every day. Downstairs of the hotel is a famous Korean hamburger restaurant, and next door is a 7-11 store, which is very convenient for eating and drinking.

The location of the hotel is very convenient near the subway station. But the hotel has no elevator on the fifth floor. There is a button to call the waiter on the first floor. They will help if the luggage is too heavy. The room is not soundproof at all. But it's clean. It's okay if the price is cheaper. Poor sound insulation is a big problem.

The location is inconvenient and the manager is very mean. There is no elevator to climb to the fifth floor and you have to build your own house. The room is clean, the bedding is clean, there are few people, it is quiet, and there is a kitchen. It is comfortable and warm. It feels so good when I sleep. The landlord speaks some Chinese and English and is also accessible. It's super close to Dongdaemun Station of Subway Line 4. It's not far from Gwangjang Market. It's a ten-minute walk. Hygiene: The room is very clean. Every day after we go out, our sheets are changed and we are given a new set of towels. Environment: Very close to Dongdaemun. Visit the scenic spots during the day and go to Dongdaemun at night if you have nothing to do. Service: The attitude of the service staff is very good. There was no place to charge my power bank in the room, but it still charged it for me. The night before I came back, the temperature in Seoul suddenly dropped, and the air conditioner had been adjusted for a long time without heating. I went to the front desk and was given a special warm heart to turn on the floor heating. Next time I go, I will choose this hotel again

It was good feeling when the first check-in and get the room for 9 nights, some staff was nice. The second day when I woke up and I saw the ceiling was a Hugh Crack so I sent the message to the staff came over to check it out. Because I already went out exploring Seoul, one of the staff was well organise and said if I want can change the other room to me so I feel good after the explanation. I went back early to the hotel so I can change the room early, but one staff was mention and so mean..said the ceiling don't have problem is just the wallpaper fall down. But I don't feel safe to sleep and it close the bed, I don't even know how you pit the heavy light there in the ceiling, I was thinking the safety issue only. And that staff mention they sell the room which is really cheap(***??)...I only response general but I'm feel not respect to the Customers. I did try different type of accommodation of my Few times Korea travel, 3 years ago the hotel nearby is much nicer. I don't want come back here to stay even go everywhere is so easy

I went to this place for all alone trip. I had so much fun in Seoul since it's really close to the Dongdaemoon station which takes only 3mins. When i had to check in, although there was no staff, Everything was prepared and clean. I was able to find my room by the screen. I loved it. Plus the price is reasonable. 혼자 여행하려고 서울 가게 되었는데 동대문 역이랑 매우 가까워서 편했어요. 장난감 시장도 둘러볼수 잇었고 쇼핑하기도 좋았네요. 객실도 깨끗했고 밤늦게 가서 스태프 없었는데 다 준비되어있더라고요. 일단 가격이 싸서 매우만족했습니다.
