Boutique Hotel H10 Blue Mar - Adults Only

Our 4 nights B&B stay at the H10 Blue Mar adults only hotel was wonderful. We had a lovely room overlooking the pool & the sea. All the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Upon arrival we had a complimentary glass of cava and in our room was a little box of welcome chocolates and water. We looked forward to breakfast every morning as it was great with so much choice. In the evenings we ate out at the restaurants nearby. We took a taxi (8 euros) to Port D’Andratx which is a must as it has a lovely marina & a wide choice of restaurants overlooking the port. H10 Blue Mar is only 1 hour from Palma airport and is definitely worth a visit. We hope to return soon!

This hotel was so lovely. The staff were really friendly. The pool was a perfect temperature and the pool area not too crowded, we didn't struggle to get sunbeds at any point even in August. It is located right on the beach. The breakfast was good. We didn't have any evening meals here. Our room was lovely (we paid for a sea view) with a really nice bathroom. Our only thought for improvement was that the outside of the hotel could do with a coat of paint. There was a nice mix of people from lots of different countries. Thoroughly recommend this hotel for a nice quiet couples break.

The hotel is lovely very welcoming. We parked really easily on the street. We've been to camp de mar before, so we know the area and beach. The hotel is well situated right on the beach, and easy to get about. The rooms are OK I was expecting a bit more. We're in room 412, and there is only a limited view of the sea, and virtually no sun on the balcony at any time of day. The other rooms look to have a better view. Not necessarily of the sea, but we're wedged in to a corner. They're decorated nicely and there is a coffee maker, which is a nice touch. The bathroom is nice, spacious, and the dressing gowns are lovely. Balcony is a.good size, and has a seating area and a dryer for wet clothes. Bed was comfy. Air con works well. Breakfast was good. Not spectacular. It was very busy as you would expect, but they dealt well with it. Pool area is lovely. But getting a lounger is very difficult. There are signs up saying don't hog a lounger, but we were there hours with no one on loungers, just towels. One couple even had loungers on the shade and loungers in the sun Not one member of staff did anything about it. Bar wasn't always manned and you would have to wait. Lounger service or an app service would have been nice in such a highly rated establishment. Staff were friendly. Other things to note, small.supermarket nearby. Handy with a fridge in the room. Would I stay here again? Hmm, I have another place in camp de mar I like a lot and is cheaper, plus no issue with getting a lounger by the pool. Staff are more engaged and friendlier there too. I would stay here again, but not in that room. The lounger issue is quite bad, but the beach is just there, but you have to pay for loungers there, quite expensive!

Where do I start? Excellent welcome from Carlos, amazing room for our stay with sea views, air conditioning and plenty of space. Walked in for a stunning breakfast each morning and then literally walked 100 paces through the hotel pool area, through the gate and onto the beach. After the beach we returned for a dip in the lovely pool with spa jets, had a drink from Nico and then went to the chill out area on the 5th floor to finish our drinks. Paulino and his lovely team then served us our fantastic evening meals. Jazmin then checked us out with no fuss whilst other guests were praising this hotel and its staff. Really enjoyed our stay to quietly celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and we will definitely return. Thank you H10 and we hope you can maintain this very high standard that we experienced.

Second time visiting with friends for a mini break in the sun. Perfect location on the beach with some lovely local restaurants in walking distance and Port Andratx a short taxi ride away. Staff on reception very helpful with making dinner reservations and booking taxis. We stayed in the chill out rooms on the first floor which were perfect for us. Breakfast had plenty of choice. My only slight grumble is one member of breakfast staff objecting to guests taking a cup of coffee to their Sun loungers before or after breakfast. This seemed a little mean for a hotel of this standard and couldn’t have been down to safety as glasses from bar were permitted. All in all another lovely stay. We’ll look forward to visiting again

Although the hotel is quite tired the staff (the few there are) were always cheerful and happy to help. The one star is because of the management and reception staff who seem to treat some guests (probably not the returning guests) as an inconvenience. Our experience would appear not unique, we heard other guests during our visit also complaining about room allocations and other reviews also indicate this. We had booked a Superior Double Room with Sea View. Only 6 nights B & B. On checking in, I asked reception to confirm this was the room we had been allocated, which they did. We were allocated room 219. However room 219 is a room for a disabled or infirm person, which was not what we had booked. Wide door into the room which was heavy and difficult to open, wide door into the bathroom which was actually a Wet Room (although the lighting was good in there and plenty of toiletries) and very tired, dated furniture with wardrobe doors which did not close. However, they did fix the noisy open fuse box promptly. Now OK we probably should have gone straight to reception and complained it was not what we booked. But in over 50 years of travelling if on the odd occasions the correct room has not been available (it may have happened 4 or 5 times) the reception have always explained this and offered a solution. So the following day we queried about the room. The comment was would you like to change rooms. What we wanted to know why we were allocated the room 219 when it was clearly not what we had booked or paid for. That seemed to be a question that could not be answered. We tried again 2 days later different receptionist same response perhaps a touch more sharp. It was clear that to get the room we had booked and paid for, we would have had to change rooms, but there would not have been any assistance in this from any of the hotel staff. And we were only there for a few days. It seems like H10 Loyalty Club Members are Second Class when it comes to room allocations and there is no reward for loyalty, with the better rooms being allocated to new visitors. Second time visiting this little gem. Intimate boutique hotel set in the most fantastic location in camp de mar. Amazing staff (shout out to Maria and Yasmin in reception ) , great food, spotlessly clean. Just dropping one star as it does need a bit of upgrading /painting which I know is underway. This is a great hotel and we had an amazing stay, thank you.

Thank you H10 Blue Mar. My third time at H10 Blue Mar (Oct 22 - Oct 23) and once again an excellent stay (B&B). All the staff are friendly, courteous and always meet any requirement. Learn basic Spanish, it goes a long way to enhancing the experience. The buffet breakfast didn't disappoint to set you up for the day. It was the last week of the season and by the Thursday only 20/100 rooms were occupied which made things a little strange, but the high standards expected of services were maintained. Constant wind all week from an earlier storm, which had the Beach Red Flags up for three days because of the swell. Not ideal when being a keen Open Water swimmer, swimming the Bay early morning is a reason for being there. On the occasion I managed a decent swim, the storm had brought jellyfish, which I encountered for the first time. The pool/deck staff worked hard to keep all clean and usable. Great meals at Gran Sol and Maria 5 Beach. It's a pricey resort so expect £40 for a starter and main with beer/wine as a 'Solo'. There are cheaper options. Looking forward to returning in May. Someone mentioned about restocking your own coffee supplies from reception as a negative - there is no limit, you take as much as you require - no problem.

Lovely sea view room with good size balcony. Room was very comfortable and very clean. Really enjoyed the stay. Great location right by the beach. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast buffet had a great selection of food
