I read a few reviews before booking this hotel, and decided to take a risk. I think the reviews I read were pretty accurate, so I would like to add my experience in case it helps. The hotel is very pretty and exceeded my expectations in decor and ambience. Good points - pool area and outside bar /cafe is very pretty. The top terrace where breakfast is served has panoramic views over the bay. Breakfast is plentiful and fresh, if a little repetitive. Hotel areas are spotlessly clean, as are bedrooms. Linen is changed regularly. Fresh fluffy clean towels are provided every day. Electric car service is excelkent, although we (my daughter and I) often chose to walk. Bad points - Reception staff and some other staff are often grumpy. They're fine when you arrive, but further questions and help is far too much trouble. Exceptions are the friendly main bar man and the lovely lady in charge of breakfast. I warned thembefore coming that I was GF. They had no bread for me for the first lunch and breakfast, then got some in which lasted 3 days; despite daily promises of it arriving 'later' or 'tomorrow' no more ever materialised. I even supplied them with some GF bread from a restaurant for my packed breakfast on the last motning, as didn't trust that they would sort it. All in all we enjoyed our stay, but I wouldn't return to Loreley, as there's too many places where you'd get treated better as a customer. One final word - as stipulated by others, the area isbeatiful with panoramic views, but is not suitable for disabled, infirm/elderly, as the town/streets are very steep and there isvirtually no flat walking. I would recommend walking over the mountain to Maronti Beach (as well as taking the wayer taxi) as it's stunning, and you also pass some amazing thermal caves. One last word, the hotel did organise our transport too and from Naples airport. It's quite complicated with two taxis, the ferry and the electric car each way, but all ran very smoothly.
