Some old decoration, but very clean, the room type is very spacious, the historical wing has no separate bathroom, the room has a faint long-lasting taste, haha, the service is very good, no breakfast, but can be in the restaurant on the first floor of the hotel It’s good to be your own, there is free parking at the door.

We recently stayed three nights at the Best Western Edgewater in Seward, Alaska. It is a nice hotel overlooking Resurrection Bay. We stayed in a corner Bayfront King room, it was spacious and clean, and the breeze off the bay was delightful. We had requested a handicap room, but the only handicapped accessible rooms were on the interior with no windows!! How odd is that?? The hotel staff, however, did provide us with a shower seat to use in the bathtub which worked well. The hotel is located at the opposite side of town from the busy harbor area where the cruise ships dock, so it is in a quieter area across the street from the Sealife Aquarium and close to several nicer restaurants such as The Cookery, which I highly recommend. There is a guest laundry on-site that came in handy after 10 days on the road, and a breakfast buffet that we did not use because of the lack of gluten free options available. There is limited street parking in front of the hotel and an overflow lot about a block away. Luckily, it was still early in the season and we did not have a problem finding a spot on the street. I would recommend this hotel.

We stayed two nights at the Harborview Inn. We arrived a bit before check-in time, but our room was ready, and we were allowed to check-in. The staff was friendly and offered dinner recommendations and advise. The buildings are cute. It is a bit older, but well maintained and clean. The location is perfect between the harbor and downtown Seward with an easy walk to each. I believe there is also a shuttle. The room was good size and everything working properly. I would stay here again and recommend it.
