The reception staff are warmhearted and responsive. Classic American breakfast, nice coffee, and it got a public golf club nearby which is good for walking. Also the location is convenient to downtown and airport in Louisville.

The suites are decent - well equipped and clean but we had a few complaints during our stay. There was trash and huge bags of towels in front of our door which was lying there since before arrived at the place. We had to call the front desk twice and had to finally go to the front desk to get it cleaned/picked up. The check in process is a little cumbersome with there being a separate counter for picking the keys after you complete the basic formalities. In addition, we requested a suite on the first floor - there were none available. We had to carry our heavy luggage ourselves to the second floor with no elevators on property. There is no room service nor any cleaning service - we stayed for five days and we only had our trash picked up two times, and the person who did so refilled our coffee supply and provided us with fresh towels. In all, the location is great with cracker barrel closely. Suites are decent with more of an Airbnb feel, but the service is poor.

Bright clean cheery entrance area and sitting and breakfast rooms. Staff very helpful. Room was OK, with bed that was very comfy, but closet door handle was missing and replaced with totally wrong small cabinet knob, hanger was missing from back of bathroom door, holes in bath wall from some soap dispenser or similar item that was no longer there, bathroom floor was dirty. Breakfast was very good. Eggs, instant oatmeal, yogurt, juice, coffee, very good bagels and English muffins, bananas, etc. We probably would stay here again, but we sure do hope that they get on top of maintenance/repair items that are very shabby.

I absolutely love the hotel and they always have great service, the breakfast options are quite surprising considering every other hotel I've stayed at there cafeteria rooms are shut down and don't offer breakfast any more! Also the polls and hot tubs are always clean and stocked. They have a computer room available for services, along with a laundry room and available laundry soap. It's definitely worth the stay. Also another bonus is the location. It's close by to gas station, restaurants, and shopping stores. It's also very very clean. Didn't see any bugs, or any criminal behaviors or cops circling the parking lot! Extremely impressed every time I come.
