Pros: The hotel check in was smooth and receptionist used a translator to communicate with me as a foreigner. The amenities were provided and water bottles were refilled. Cons: The hotel room smelt like smoke despite of the no smoking sign 🚭 I found the bathroom and toilet area to be quite small, which made it a bit cramped during my stay.

Good environment, considerate service, it is the first choice for family travel. Facilities: complete. Hygiene: very clean, cleaning in time. Service: very considerate.

Seriously, I'm fed up… The cleaning lady on the 11th woke me up at 9 AM while cleaning the next room with all that clatter and I couldn't get back to sleep 🤦 (That night, from 1-3 AM, I was kept awake by someone snoring in the adjacent room 🙃 Then at 4:02, the birds started chirping… I ate my takeout at 4:30, and the birds were still going strong at 6 AM. I opened my door and went to close the hallway window! Then, the cleaning at 9 AM meant I only slept 3 hours that day! What kind of nationwide chain hotel (Qingji Hotel) starts cleaning rooms at 9 AM, especially with the checkout door wide open at a 90-degree angle while cleaning… I politely opened my door and said to the cleaning lady, 'Auntie, it's quite noisy.' She unfriendlily replied, 'No, it's not noisy,' instead of apologizing blah blah blah (I thought to myself: if it wasn't noisy, why would I complain about the cleaning being noisy?) A quarter of an hour later, while recording a video of the noise, I said, 'Auntie, can I close this door for you?' Her answer was also unfriendly 😑 When I stayed at Qingji Hotel in Suzhou last March and April, they never started cleaning checkout rooms so early in the morning and disturbing other guests' rest~ Before rebooking on the 10th, after I raised my concerns… the male front desk staff kindly moved me from a room next to the disinfection room to a hallway room, saying: 'The cleaning ladies won't clean the rooms on this hallway early.' Yet, the cleaning lady still started cleaning at 9 AM, disturbing my rest… They could clean with the door closed, couldn't they? 🌏 Cleaning the bathroom at 9 AM with the door completely open, hitting the wall, and all that clatter will obviously disturb guests' rest. The hotel should really talk to the cleaning staff about this (I mentioned all this in WeChat to another female front desk staff, whose service attitude, along with two other younger and slightly older female staff, was very good… but I disagree with her statement that no one had ever complained about the cleaning lady being noisy before… In 2024, there were already reviews mentioning 'hotel soundproofing issues + woken up very early + bad windows and doors.' I just politely replied on WeChat: 'There's no need to make excuses; I'm just raising issues based on reasonable facts and logic, not being picky or leaving malicious reviews.' Moreover, a year ago, and two to three years ago, people also complained about poor soundproofing and being woken up early (high ratings are because the hotel offers late checkout for good reviews… I've stayed at other hotels before, and even with a 12 PM checkout, they allowed me to check out at 2 PM). When checking out, I also told the front desk: 'Thank you, I'm just reviewing based on actual experience, no malicious intent.' The front desk also said: 'Thank you, take care.' | I'm giving the service 3 points because the cleaning lady's service attitude needs improvement… This deduction is not related to the front desk staff's attitude… I'm giving the facilities 3 points because the soundproofing issues led to me only sleeping 3 hours before checkout and having poor rest (videos and screenshots can prove my statements are true). The cleaning lady at the apartment hotel I stayed at the night before checking into this hotel for 2 nights even questioned my character… See the review in the screenshot… Service is holistic; besides the front desk, cleaning staff are also included.

I am tired of visiting Shanghai and find a place to rest. There may be more people who are active during the day and the sound is louder. I asked the front desk for earplugs. Very good, relatively clean.

Qingji Hotel is quite easy to find, located at the intersection of Wuzhong Road and Lianhua Road on the fourth floor of Lianhua Plaza, right by the subway exit. It's just a ten-minute walk away. The facilities are pretty comprehensive; they have a water dispenser, a coffee machine, and jasmine tea. You can even have food deliveries brought to your room by a robot! The front desk staff are lovely and provide excellent service. Housekeeping is done daily and the rooms are kept very clean. Overall, it's a great place that I'd recommend.

The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. There's a free coffee machine on the first floor, along with self-serve candies and sour plum juice. They even extended our checkout by an hour for free when something unexpected came up. The front desk service is so welcoming, it feels just like home. My family and I have been staying here for several days, and we've been completely comfortable. The bedding is changed daily, and the hygiene is excellent. The cleaning staff are efficient, and all toiletries are replaced for each new guest.

Must give this hotel a full score! The location is excellent, the surrounding transportation is convenient, and the travel is easy. Entering the room, I was amazed by the spacious and bright space, the layout is reasonable, and the lighting and ventilation are impeccable. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry, and the quality of toiletries is excellent. The room was clean and tidy, the bed was soft and comfortable, the facilities were complete, and the stay was super safe.

The room rate is favorable. I thought it was because of the remote location at first. After staying there, I found that the price and the experience were matched. The only two advantages of the hotel are the simple decoration style and comfortable bedding, but unfortunately the hygiene and maintenance are not very good. So although the pictures of the guest rooms look good (no deception), the actual experience is very average. Then the ventilation of the drainage and the inner window room is very bad. The former has a bad smell, and the latter has a musty smell from time to time. Secondly, the shower water pressure is normal but the shower head is very poor. The hand washing water pressure is very small, which feels very bad. Finally, the sound insulation is also very bad. Basically, any movement outside the room can be heard clearly. Every day, the old man and the old woman of the tour group can hear the noise on time at 9 or 10 o'clock in the evening and 5 or 6 o'clock in the morning. In short, this place is still cost-effective, but it is only suitable for those travelers who have no requirements and are simply looking for a place to sleep and are not afraid of noise.

The location of the hotel is superb, close to the work and business trip, and convenient. The rooms are spacious and bright, warmly furnished, and the bedding is comfortable, making people sleep well all night. The service staff is warm and thoughtful and responds promptly. The breakfast is rich and varied and delicious. The overall cost-effective, is a very satisfying stay experience, highly recommended to everyone!
