Called a day in advance to ask about room preferences – specifically, no rooms at the end of the hall. The executive floor is on a higher level, offering beautiful city views, and the room itself is quite spacious with floor-to-ceiling windows. Turndown service included fruit. My favorite part was the oversized bathtub, perfect for the medicated herbal bath, though the water temperature was a bit low and cooled down in about 10 minutes. Afternoon tea was a little simple, and the evening happy hour didn't have many dishes, but it was enough. Breakfast was quite rich, with the best dishes being the cold mixed eggplant, cold mixed cabbage, pickled radish, and scallion oil noodles. The location is also very convenient, just a short walk to the subway station, and downstairs there's the newly opened, massive mall, Luyue Tiandi. My only suggestion would be to make the bathwater hotter!

Five stars, hands down! I absolutely have to recommend the Hilton Garden Inn Shanghai Hongqiao Gubei! As someone with severe allergies, my biggest worry when staying at hotels is always cleanliness. But this stay was such a pleasant surprise! The room was incredibly clean, beyond my expectations – not a speck of dust anywhere, and the bedding and bathroom were perfectly disinfected. My allergies didn't flare up at all the entire time, which made for a very comfortable and reassuring stay. Huge thanks to the hotel for their thoughtful arrangements and high-standard cleaning. I'll definitely be staying here again next time I'm in Shanghai!
Our stay at this hotel was very comfortable and pleasant. The pools were great, a nice place to relax. Breakfast offered a good variety and we enjoyed it very much. The staff were very helpful throughout our stay. I especially want to thank Tian, who was exceptionally kind and attentive. She made sure everything was taken care of for us.

The location is excellent, not far from Jiangsu Road subway station; it's about a 7-8 minute walk to the entrance. This is a newly opened five-star hotel, and the lobby is quite grand. The front desk staff were very efficient with check-in and even upgraded my room for free, which I really appreciate. The doormen are very diligent; they open and close doors for guests, help with luggage, and even assist with car doors when getting in and out, even in bad weather, which is tough work.
The hotel's hygiene is good. The bathroom has two showerheads, two sinks, and a comfortable bathtub for soaking. The toilet is smart and automatically senses you. The front desk gives you a toiletries kit upon check-in, but if you need anything else or have requests, you can call '0' and they almost always answer immediately. The staff are all very easy to communicate with. For food delivery, a robot brings it to your room. Once your delivery arrives at the concierge, you just tell the front desk your phone and room number, then wait in your room for the little robot. It's quite fast; you don't have to wait long. I stayed for two nights, and there was virtually no noise in the room, and the hallway was especially quiet. Breakfast is on the first floor, with a rich variety of both Chinese and Western options. After giving your room number, someone guides you to a table, and the dining process is orderly, not chaotic.
My only minor complaints are a coffee or tea stain on the desk, which I wiped with a wet wipe myself, and the power outlet under the sofa seemed to be dead because my laptop didn't react when plugged in. Other than that, no big issues.
Overall, the good far outweighs the bad. This hotel offers standard five-star service, and I was personally very satisfied with this stay. If I have the chance, I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to my relatives and friends.

Stepping from Terminal 1 into the lobby, the warm lighting immediately muffled the bustling crowds and flight announcements, transforming the space into a tranquil oasis right beside the Hongqiao transportation hub. The room was wonderfully quiet; the window framed the vast airport nightscape into a moving canvas of twinkling lights against a dark blue background, with only the gentle hum of the air conditioning inside. A dreamless night's sleep here was a rare gift during my travels. Kevin from the staff provided professional and thoughtful service, efficient yet meticulous, truly perfecting this seamless transit experience. For travelers catching early flights or arriving late at night, this isn't just a stopover, but a valuable haven for respite.

Lucy and Mili at the front desk were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was spotless, and the soundproofing was excellent – it was really quiet and peaceful. The facilities were great and complete, and the location made it easy to get around. Definitely great value for money. My entire stay, from check-in to check-out, was comfortable and pleasant.

The hotel staff were incredibly attentive, and we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a lake view room—thank you so much! We could see Guangfulin right from our balcony and garden, and it was also very convenient to walk there. The hotel restaurant had a wonderful ambiance as well. Overall, it was a great experience. We hope to visit again next time and will definitely recommend it to our friends.
