Room is wonderful! Best view of Fireworks! Some little quirks, aircon takes a while to cool the room, refrigerator not working or plugged in ! Wonderful buffet spread, beautiful hotel landscape!

Absolutely stunning place, rooms are large, luxurious and clean. The bathroom is large . I had 2 balconies with amazing views on the Dishuihu , I enjoyed the fireworks from my balcony at 20:00. Then the breakfast was great, large space, good coffee and you can visit diffetent booths with different types of food , western or Asian. Very good quality. I strongly recommend this hotel and special thank to Carol Wang for her welcome !!

What’s a retreat! Everything was amazing and all staffs were lovely and helpful. I was really enjoyed my weekends here, walking around Dishuihu Lake and back to the hotel for Fireworks on Saturday. Fireworks were very fantastic! Will definitely come back again.

Far away from Shanghai. The pool is awful – you are required to wear a swim cap even in the outdoor pool. Drinks cannot be ordered at the outside pool. The restaurant doesn’t have most of the drinks or beer listed on the menu. Breakfast is very poor and not suitable for foreigners.

The room carpets was the dirtiest in all the 5 star hotel I have stayed so far. The CNY crowd made things worse, it was hard to get a table for dinner in the hotel and breakfast everyday was frantic. Both the Chinese and Korean restaurants are bad, they would close in 6 months if they are opened in the city. if i wasn't lazy i would have driven out for every meal. First night in the Korean bbq, we had long waits between food and some of the cooked bbq was cold when served. Third night we had Chinese, the stired fried vegetables had a strange sour taste for Chinese yam, at least the manager took it back and gave a 10% discount. Overall it's hard to lay back and relax here, I won't be coming back again, had much better experience at the other one nearby.

The staff are really nice. Cause my flight is a bit early so arrived the hotel around 9am and the staff let me checked in in the early morning to don’t wait my friend at the lobby. The hotel is very clean and the bed is comfy. Really enjoyed :)

Very nice hotel located just beside the lake, had am amazing view of the fireworks display on the 1st Jan. Very good breakfast buffet.

I stayed at this hotel in June 2024, before the hot summer, with my parents (in their 60s) and my daughter (below 10). This place is quieter than city districts. InterContinental never disappoints. The hotel room we stayed was spacious and clean, the surroundings were nicely decorated with beautiful greeneries 🌳, flowers🌷, fountains ⛲️ and ancient buildings 🏯. My family rented the family bike from the hotel at RMB100 to cycle around the hotel. We took plenty of nice photos!

Nice location Price very expensive because of holiday I got charged 1000 yuan extra Outdoor Swimming pool is closed so it’s a bit boring as we can’t swim outdoor, The swimming pool outdoor is nice but they just closed , only indoor and indoor is not good Buffet food is a bit limited not much options It’s not that fancy it’s average

The place was a bit far, but we enjoyed our stay! Amenities were great. Breakfast was okay.
