This is one of the best home stays I have been to in China. Place is clean, in a great location, close to subway, restaurants, theatre and malls. The team is very friendly and responsive. The place has all necessary equipment, towels, kitchen utensils, wifi, projector.

We had such a wonderful stay! The place was incredibly cozy, clean, and felt like a home away from home. It had everything we needed, making our trip to Shanghai even more enjoyable. The host was exceptionally kind, responsive, and accommodating. They patiently answered all of our questions before and during our stay, and even generously allowed us a late check-out because we weren’t quite done with our shopping. That thoughtful gesture was truly appreciated and made our departure so much more convenient. The location is another huge plus—it’s close to all the shopping streets, restaurants, cafés, convenience stores, and attractions you’ll want to experience in Shanghai. Getting around was easy, and everything we needed was within reach. We highly recommend staying here and would absolutely book this Airbnb again on our next trip to Shanghai!

A secret garden hidden deep within the plane tree-lined streets. Pushing open the creaky wooden door instantly transported me from the city's hustle and bustle to another time and space. The guesthouse has preserved the original architectural texture of the alleyways, with a perfect blend of weathered brick walls and modern soft furnishings. The guesthouse service was also excellent, very thoughtful. I'll definitely stay here again next time.

Located in the lovely concession neighborhood, quiet, ground floor two bedroom apt, small kitchenette. Close to supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, walking distance or a short DiDi to a few metro lines. Washing machine was a nice addition.

The name Guisu Homestay truly lives up to its reputation! Nestled in the Wutong tree-lined streets of Yueyang Road, the location is superb, offering a fantastic atmosphere for leisurely strolls. The interior is clean and refreshing, and the environment is quiet and elegant. The butler service is attentive, with smooth communication throughout our stay. It's a tranquil oasis amidst the bustling city, allowing us to fully experience the charm of old Shanghai. Our stay was absolutely perfect, highly recommended!

This room is located in Shannan Village, and the house is nearly a hundred years old. I highly recommend taking a walk to experience the streetscape of the century-old sycamore-lined avenue nearby. If you appreciate European architecture and the history of the Republic of China, you definitely shouldn't miss this place. It's just a few minutes' walk from Exit 6 of Metro Line 10. The service was excellent; they provided disposable slippers and water.

Stayed here for two days. The location is very close to South Shaanxi Road, offering an authentic experience of an old Shanghai lane house. The room was very clean, with every nook and cranny tidied up, and the towels felt and smelled fresh from the dryer. The check-in process was simple, and any questions were quickly answered by the staff. Overall, I was very satisfied.

The hotel contacted me in advance to ensure good service. Even though it's an apartment, it was quite clean and tidy. It had everything one could need, including a washing machine, refrigerator, and kettle. Thumbs up!

Most rooms are independent houses with their own courtyards, offering a unique charm amidst Shanghai's small streets. It's close to popular attractions, making it perfect for a Citywalk.

The environment is nice, and the room was clean and tidy. Even with the rain, the duvet felt dry and comfortable to sleep under. It's really convenient for shopping and dining, and not too far from the subway. A great experience overall, I'd definitely choose this place again next time.

The place was spotless! The greenery right outside the entrance was a lovely touch. Service was super attentive; the host gave us some great local recommendations for food and attractions. It had a fridge and a projector, so the amenities were really complete. Everyone was very satisfied!

This guesthouse in a Shanghai 'lilong' house (old lane house) was a delightful surprise! First, the small alleyways really capture the authentic local vibe. Second, the room was incredibly spacious, easily comfortable for three people. Third, it was very quiet at night, and the bed was wide – I slept soundly until morning. Fourth, the concierge group was always prompt and helpful in their replies. The only downside is that it's an old house with narrow stairs, so a large suitcase might be a bit inconvenient.

The room was clean and well-equipped, making us feel right at home. It's located in the city center with convenient transportation, and plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. There's even a small courtyard where you can sit, have a cup of tea, and chat.
