This hotel is very near to the Shanghai railway station and from Pudong airport we take the maglev n changed to the train that took us to the station n after alighting just a short walk to the hotel . Although we reached at 9.30 am they let us check in without even us asking for it. The family room is very spacious , look very new and clean and everting works fine . I will definitely book this hotel again if I visit Shanghai as the price is very good too

Excellent location south of the Shanghai Traim station. Room was clean and tidy. Bed was comfy.

The hotel location is opposite to shanghai railway station line 1(red) exit 3. Take a short walk from exit 3. But if u bring luggage , it's not convenient from exit 3. The hotel room is clean and new. The design of the lobby is modern and updated. They provide mineral water, coffee n cookies at the lobby for guests.

The room was clean and there was no smell of cigarette smoke inside, although there was a noticeable smell of smoke in the hallway. I booked two rooms, but on the first night, we were given rooms on different floors. However, we were able to change and stay on the same floor for the second night. The front desk staff did not speak English very well, so it was sometimes hard to communicate. On the positive side, the location is great—very close to Metro Line 1 and the Shanghai Railway Station. The breakfast menu was almost the same every day.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The service is fantastic, they are helpful and welcoming. The hotel is just couple of minutes walk from the train station an line 1. Nearby there are several shopping malls with restaurants, and you can easily reach Hanzhonglu with a 10-15 min walk. The room was quite big, very clean, with a very comfortable bed and pillows. There is enough space to store your luggage, a fridge and a desk, which for me was very useful. The bathroom was big and clean, with all necessary shampoo, conditioner and soap. I did not book the breakfast so I can't evaluate it. The quality/price was honestly very good. I would totally come back.

very near the Shanghai Railway “metro” and “train” station. staff were very nice and helpful. most can speak English. room was clean and quite big. the beds and pillows were very comfortable. what we loved the most was the location and the cleanliness. there was no tobacco smell at all, unlike any other Chinese chain hotels. they even allowed us to check in as early as 11 am because the rooms were available. so thankful of that because we could take a shower after the hot and tiring flight we took. also very convinient for anyone needing to travel via the train station early in the morning. we didn’t buy the breakfast buffet but was satisfied with the free water+tea+coffee+cookies provided for free at the lobby

Excellent location and very close to metro and railway station. Good room size and comfortable bed. Little disappointed with shower water pressure, and pipe from sink connected to sewerage pipe not closed properly, it is a design fault, so it has little odor smell in the washroom and have to kept the exhaust fan running. I use some medical tape to seal the gaps to avoid the bad smells.

Very good, near the railway station if you want to go to other cities near Shanghai, on line 1 to go to the center of Shanghai.

This Hotel are amazing. they are located just in front of Shanghai Railway station. they serve a very perfect breakfast every morning.. I would say that the price is the best deal. they provide a free Cookies, bottle water, coffee and Candy exactly in the lobby near the entrance. its totally free . large room and very clean bathroom. We love our stay ( for 7 days) one thing i want to suggest is, the hotel building sign is : Country Inn and Suites by Radisson . meanwhile in trip.com app sign is : Liyi Hotel. ( with english and chinese characters) I think trip.com should write down with both language in english : Country Inn and Suites by Radisson And in Chinese : Liyi Hotel, to make it easier for traveller to find the hotel

Stayed here before, this time round no free upgrade given. Staff is not able to speak english but not a problem as we can speak a bit of mandarin. Check in was ok but this time round both rooms given to us have issues. First room despite being non smoking room has strong ciggarates smell all over. Not sure why the housekeeping didnt noticed this or at least open the window for ventilation. Second room air conditioning system is not working therefore the room is very warm and stuffy. Otherwise the rooms are as expected, compact size but quite spacious bathroom with good smelling toiletries. Free supper was minimal and can skip as the choices are limited. Buffet breakfast menu was limited and about the same as per my last stay in Dec 2024. Only 1 coffee machine available during breakfast which is not sufficient. This time round i do noticed the quality of coffee has dropped. Coffee from machine somehow is diluted. Hope the hotel can do something about this. Anyway the plus point staying at this hotel is that it is 5 mins walk ftter in my opinionrom Shanghai railway station and metro station exit 1 is only 5 mins walk away too. Lobby has a station with free flow mineral water, hot tea and hot coffee with biscuit which is nice. Overall, this time round my stay experience is just average. Can be better.
