This was my first stay at a Home Inn hotel, and I highly recommend it! The hotel has a game room, perfect for hanging out and having fun with friends. My room wasn't huge, but it was cozy and comfortable. The internet was exceptionally fast; I could transfer files in a flash. The hotel is also close to Nanpu Bridge, and you can walk to the Huangpu River waterfront from there to enjoy the beautiful scenery on both sides by bike.

The hotel receptionist (a lady) was very nice. Unlike other hotels, she knew English. Breakfast had average variety, not too much. There was a game room and a coffee machine outside the room. But it had a few downsides: it was quite far from the metro, about 20 minutes away. Also, during the nights we stayed, the weather had turned cold, but there was no heating system.

a view from the entrance of the hotel was the huge shanghai bridge! this hotel is pretty cool with a tv attached above the bed which allowed us to enjoy a show before sleeping, but we had to pay for member in order to watch the shows (quite affordable). the smart robot sent our food deliveries up in time and really cute haha!

The room offered good value for money. The lobby even had gaming computers, and I enjoyed playing a few long-lost games there. Since I was on a business trip, I needed to use my laptop in the room, but the mouse wasn't very easy to operate directly on the desk. I called the hotel to see if I could borrow a mouse pad temporarily, but the front desk said they didn't have any. This was the only slight disappointment for me (especially since I figured a hotel with e-sports rooms would easily have mouse pads), but overall, it was still a good stay.
