This place has cockroaches! I messaged the owners and they didn’t care. Their response was “there are cockroaches everywhere”. Absolutely disgusting. We killed one as soon as we got there, when I woke up I saw a cockroach wing under the covers where I was sleeping with my son. I looked down and next to my bed was another cockroach that was probably dead for days because it was falling apart. I’ve never seen a single cockroach in China and I used to live here. I also never saw one in a Chinese home nor a Chinese hotel for that matter. This place is also really difficult to find. There are so many things they don’t tell you about in the listing. The owners called me and I had to pay 3 pounds just to pick up their call and they still didn’t tell me how to get there even though I spoke to them in Chinese. Stay away if you don’t want to sleep with cockroaches. The only good thing is that they have a fridge, a kitchen, and washer and dryer. As for the rest, the whole place is gross from the moment you enter the building. The place can be old, but it doesn’t need to be dirty. Their excuse is that the building is old, how does that have anything to do with cleanliness? And why are the cups in the bathroom all wet inside with hair? 😓 They said they would partially refund me for my stay but I don’t even think this is a matter of refunding me partially. They said they would give me 50 RMB back, I’ve never ever slept with cockroaches. The pictures are deceiving.

The only communication for?me is to response you by a word: "小强真是无孔不入啊"，means "the cockroaches are really difficult to be blocked out". means even we do our best to keep it outside, but still there is one found inside. this is really not my attitude issue, It is bad translation by dictionary software. I host a lot of foreigher customers, almost all of them recognize d me helpful and like to help We did spend a lot of efforts to get the cockroach out before you come in. But still there is one left. And the house name is not really "green eyes" booked and comments by u here. We know that your guys need to be together for 2 families so we upgrade u into a bigger one in same location with another family. We tried our best to host u, make your comfort, not sure if you felt our heart indeed. We are not finding any execute but we try our best to provide good service. In the mid night, ur find special case one cockroack, we are not easy to get there since we are not living very near. But if you told us directly you mind it, for sure we will take care and take immediate action to come. Good service and rapid actions are very key for us. And the comments impact us a lot, so we try our best to maintain good condition on house and keep good communication and attitude with clients. If we get a chance to know each other, If you are really willing to spend time living in the area. talk and feel each other, you will be more understandable on everything. World would be in different color. I would keep good heart to treat all my respected clients and early welcome friends coming from anywhere includiing overseas

Be aware! The apartment we stayed at was next to a school playground/ sports field. Every morning we woke up around 7:30 to loud music and voices through speakers from the school. This would last for a long time and it was very loud. We couldn’t sleep in any single day. Pros : Great location, metro not too far away and convenience store nearby. Central. Outside little terrace is great to smoke or sit at night. Cons : To start with the matresses were terrible. The top bed was basically unusable, you could feel the steel inside the mattress. It hurts when you lay on it, so we had to share the bottom bed. Which also had quite a thin/hard mattress. Cockroaches, we don’t care but they’re here. May be an issue for some people. There are pans but no cutlery/dishes/glasses. So be aware of this. We were disappointed to see this was not available. Toilet clogged multiple times. Conclusion : A cheap stay, at a good location. But these beds are terrible.

Great apartment, very clean and the best location near Jing'an and French Concession with loads of cafes and restaurants within walking distance. Friendly and helpful manager, will stay here again for sure

Located on Yuyuan Road and just a few minutes to Jing’an Temple and walking distance to the Former French Concession. All clean and nice room, Good value for money.

Great location and a reasonable price, good for families with 2 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms. Quiet neighborhood away from the street noise, yet 2 subway stations with a 5 minute walk. The apartment could be cleaner, there was a lot of dust under the beds, and the dishes were not very clean. Bed sheets and towels were perfectly clean, but 2 towels each for a 7 night stay was a bit limited. There is a washing machine and a dryer, functional but the dryer was quite old and didn't dry well. Overall good value for money, would be great if more clean.

This was a great place to stay . Henry contacted me immediately and sent me all the necessary Details . The community is right across from Charlie’s a decent burger place in Shanghai and their alcoholic milkshakes are to die for . So if you’re hungry there’s always a place to eat . You need to walk a little bit however it wasn’t difficult to find . The apartment was heated and it had ample lighting . Cosy and great for families or a group of friends. You can. Order in delicious food or head out near Jianghan temple to find amazing places to eat . The location is great and easily accessible by public transport . A lot of stuff to do around here. You won’t be bored . The rooms are spacious , and well lit . Except the tiny room . That has a small window . The kitchen was handy for making light snacks . Would recommend this place to people

Location is great! Apartment is very clean and new. A little bit small, but if you just come for night, it’s ok. Manager was so polite and helpful to us. I definitely recommend this apartment for short trip to Shanghai!

The entrance is through a public kitchen under renovation. The room is very cramped and the photos on the official website are seriously distorted. What's worse is the smell of smoke in the bedding and the hair on the sheets. . I am very satisfied with this stay. The landlord is very nice. There are many people in the family and he helped arrange a driver to pick us up at the airport.
