Had a really great stay at Atour Hotel. Very comfortable. Their pillows are super comfy. Would definitely stay again next time! :)

This time in Shanghai, I blindly chose this hotel, and not only did the amenities far exceed my expectations, but the details truly resonated with a younger demographic. I absolutely have to recommend it! As soon as I walked into the room, I was amazed by the toiletries – a full set from JO LOVES, a sub-brand of Jo Malone! The scent was sophisticated and soothing, and even my hair smelled subtly luxurious after showering. This feeling of being enveloped by premium toiletries instantly washed away the fatigue of travel. The mattress isn't a standard spring mattress; it's an Atour-standard deep sleep mattress with independent pocket springs + memory foam dual-layer structure. It offers precise support, preventing any gap at the lower back. Pillows come in three options – down, buckwheat, and deep sleep – and can be swapped for free. The attention to detail is impressive. The electric blackout curtains block over 99% of light, paired with silent door strips, ensuring even light sleepers can sleep soundly until morning. The room has double-layered soundproof windows, making it incredibly quiet for a core business district like People's Square – they definitely invested in the soundproofing technology. The desk and chair are 5cm taller than in most hotels, great for workers hunched over for 8 hours. The bedside features a USB + Type-C + 220V three-in-one socket, so no more digging through luggage for a charger. The breakfast offers over 40 varieties, including freshly ground coffee, a noodle bar, and Western pastries. It completely breaks the stereotype of traditional hotel dining and perfectly caters to younger palates! Beyond the warm, authentic 'tang tang cai' (hot stir-fry dishes) that offer a taste of local life, there are also freshly handmade waffles, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, which are a heavenly combination with the self-service yogurt bar nearby! The joy of carbs and yogurt makes getting up early something to look forward to. For business travelers and tourists alike, this place is full of thoughtful touches: a 24-hour free laundry room, so you can easily take care of your clothes no matter how late you return; if you need to work or have a meeting on short notice, the hotel also has small and large meeting rooms; there's even a fitness corner, catering to both business and leisure needs.

The room was very clean and tidy, and the breakfast was delicious. It's also very close to popular attractions.

Before checking in, I was a little hesitant about the four-diamond price point, but after staying, I realized that this 'expensive' price is well-justified. The guest room's mattress and pillows are Atour's 'Deep Sleep' series, which are just right in terms of firmness, allowing you to sleep on your side without shoulder pressure. The bedding has a thread count of 600 or higher, feels delicate on the skin, and is a dream for those who love to sleep nude. The room layout is clearly divided – the office area, storage area, and shower area are all separate and don't interfere with each other. The desk height is ergonomic, so you won't get tired even after sitting for a long time. The bathroom has excellent wet/dry separation, and the hot water comes out quickly and consistently. The toiletries are the custom JO LOVES series from Jo Malone, with a sophisticated scent. The towels are thick, fluffy, skin-friendly, and don't shed. Electric curtains open and close with a single touch, the 65-inch large-screen TV offers seamless casting, and the air conditioning is quiet with no noise. The Wi-Fi speed is stable, ensuring video conferences are lag-free, which is extremely friendly for business travelers. The breakfast offers freshly ground coffee and made-to-order noodle stations, with 30% more variety than hotels in the same price range. The hotel also has a 24-hour self-service laundry room and a fitness corner, as well as small and large meeting rooms, ensuring business travel doesn't have to compromise on comfort. The hotel is in a prime location, within a 10-minute walk to Nanjing East Road Metro Station (Lines 2 and 10) and Qufu Road Station (Lines 8 and 12). People's Square, Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, and The Bund are all within about 1 kilometer. In summary: Although the nightly rate is higher than other hotels in the area, the bedding, bathroom, smart amenities, and location are all top-notch. It's worth the price for the quality and peace of mind. For business travel, it's definitely worth rebooking.

The hotel room was clean and a good size, and the TV was huge! The staff were really friendly and kind, and they even upgraded us to a room with an outward-facing window. Free laundry facilities were a big plus. The breakfast offered a great mix of Western and Chinese options. It's about a 10-minute walk to Nanjing East Road and 15-20 minutes to The Bund. It's not particularly close to a subway station, but the best part is that all rooms are non-smoking – fantastic!
