Lively Journey Homestay (The Bund)

I am so happy my family of 3 stayed here. It is a wonderful homestay! Our host was very nice and communicative and it is a beautiful loft. It is even more beautiful than the pictures. It is in a charming historic building that is in a prime location. The Tiantong subway station entrance/exit 3 is just a few minutes away, you just walk 5 minutes and you're there. Shanghai has the best subway system, and we used the subway every day. The view of the city and the Shanghai skyline from the loft is gorgeous. You can also exit the building, make a left, walk a very scenic 30 minutes along the river and you arrive to the public, and free North Bund Green Land waterfront promenade which is right across from the beautiful skyline that includes the Pearl Tower. There are places to eat, buy snacks and coffee very nearby. Anybody who stays here will not regret it.

I nice place to stay and close to The Bund and Nanjing Road. Apartment was clean and tidy and had good facilities.

The apartment is right in the bund and just about 5 minutes away you'll see a great view of the Bund! The staff and the owner are both always available when we needed help. Great location for exploring shanghai!The morning sunrise and night view from our windows is a PLUS!

The location was a plus because of the view and the area was convenient for walks along the river. The building itself is an old residential building so it was a bit scary. There is also a curfew for the front entrance and you have to find a way in from the side. The interior oc the room is very lux and I loved it👍🏻

Loved it here. The views are amazing. The vibe outside is chill but you’re only a 10 walk from The Bund. Loved passing the grandmas in the hallways. Was interesting staying in a real apartment building! The communication was fantastic (just use WeChat!) and they were super helpful. Would totally recommend. Would stay again.
