LEGOLAND® Hotel

I booked a one-night stay at the Legoland Hotel last week for this past Tuesday. We arrived at the hotel around 1 PM on the day of check-in, and as soon as we entered, my child was incredibly excited and ran off to build with Legos. After checking in at the front desk, we waited for a text notification that our room was ready. While we waited, we played in the indoor playground and went down the outdoor slides. We also took a look at the splash pad where we'd be going for some water fun later in the afternoon. My child was super excited! ❤️ We received a text that our room was ready just before 3 PM, but we decided to get our swimsuits ready first and take the kids to the pool. The hotel provides a schedule of all the activity zones, and you can also check the official app for specific activities. 📣 There was a foam party at 3 PM and a brick-building water party at 4:30 PM. My child was more interested in playing in the water and spent two hours there, refusing to leave. The hotel's activities are truly abundant! 👍🏻 There's also a treasure hunt in the lobby, suitable for older children, and many other activities to participate in. 😆 The hotel room surprised us! Not only could we do a 'treasure hunt mystery' in the room, but we could also build Legos. With one king bed and one bunk bed, it was perfectly fine for me, my friend, and our two children (2 adults and 2 kids). ✌🏻🤗 The hotel's environment, cleanliness, facilities, service, entertainment activities, and the rich breakfast buffet the next day were all well worth the price. While one night wasn't cheap, the experience was truly superb! My child had a great time and kept exclaiming: 'I never thought this hotel would be so much fun!' Hahahaha~ 🥰🥳

This was my second visit, and I chose the Ninjago-themed room this time. I actually preferred the City-themed room from my last stay. The butler upgraded us to a garden view room, which was great because we could watch the closing show from our room. We also got to experience the seasonal pool, which was excellent.

LEGO Hotel Garden View Wukong Room The price wasn't great this time 🎶. I booked directly on Ctrip for 2109, which included breakfast and a ticket for one adult and one child for the next day. Two days prior, I called the hotel to inquire about the complimentary birthday amenities. I also requested a garden view room with a view of Legoland. The front desk said I could upgrade for an additional 189, which they could arrange in advance! This was a better deal than booking a garden view room directly on Ctrip!~ The video at the end shows the upgraded amenities, including a bottle of champagne! The butler added me on WeChat a day in advance and sent a lot of important information! Perhaps because the summer vacation was over and there were fewer people, we were able to check in at 1:20 PM on the 1st, even though check-in is usually at 3 PM. It felt like a bonus! [adorable emoji] Overall, I think the room was good, just missing a balcony, haha~

Our stay this time was absolutely fantastic! My two boys are huge LEGO fanatics, and as soon as we entered the hotel on check-in day, they were captivated by the LEGO bricks in the lobby and couldn't stop playing. The hotel offers a wide variety of activities, catering to different age groups, so every child can participate. It combines indoor and outdoor fun, and the staff are all incredibly enthusiastic, speaking with gentle and engaging voices. From the moment they stepped into the hotel (even before check-in!) until 10 PM, the kids played non-stop and loved every single activity. The restaurant food was abundant and delicious, and there were even interactive activities there. LEGO elements were everywhere in the room, from LEGO bricks to treasure hunts in the safe. For LEGO enthusiasts, it was pure bliss! We're definitely coming back again and again. This is currently the best family-friendly hotel in China. For boys, it's even better than Disney or Chimelong. And of course, it's impeccably clean and hygienic – far exceeding industry standards! Plus, the park entrance is just a minute's walk from the hotel's main gate, so if the kids get tired or sleepy, they can easily head back to the hotel to rest. It's truly amazing!

Loved the room, a big thank you to the lady at the front desk! We had a direct view of the park and were lucky enough to catch the sunrise, which was beautiful. The castle theme was really fun, and the kids loved it 👍. The treasure hunt was enjoyable, the cake was delicious, and the bunk beds were a hit – so much dopamine! It’s a shame I forgot to get the birthday badge. The lobby activities were quite varied, and it was conveniently located right next to the hotel, making it easy to walk to.

The room has a very strong theme, with Lego elements everywhere, including bunk beds that kids absolutely love. It's right at the entrance to Legoland, allowing hotel guests to use a dedicated pathway for entry. Our concierge, Willow, was incredibly thoughtful; she contacted us a day in advance to ask about our needs and even hand-wrote a birthday card for one of the children in our group. It was a lovely, personal touch!

Terrible review! The facilities and hygiene are absolutely dreadful! The room was full of trash and dust everywhere! There were even dirty things and hair on the bed... It's utterly disappointing! Not worth the 3000 RMB price, especially for a hotel that's primarily kid-themed! How can children stay in such a filthy environment? I'm so angry 😡! We went to the breakfast restaurant around 8 AM, and many items were already gone. We asked the waitress if they could replenish them, but she said no, they couldn't add more. Kids love cute and pretty cakes, but unfortunately, they couldn't be refilled... When we tried to book hotel activities at the front desk, they said 10-year-old children weren't allowed... but then we saw many children of similar age participating in the activities. Overall, the experience was extremely poor! The self-service dinner was also very low-quality... nothing good to eat... The swimming pool had a strong plastic smell! After being in there for a while, I started to get a headache and felt nauseous 🤮, almost throwing up... I felt much better after getting out of the pool... But when I re-entered, I felt dizzy and nauseous again, realizing it was caused by the pool! Absolutely awful, awful, awful...

🏰 Shanghai Legoland Hotel | Step into a Brick Fairytale World, A Top Choice for Family Trips! From a distance, the colorful brick castle exterior instantly got my child excited. The lobby is filled with giant LEGO models and interactive installations, creating an incredibly immersive atmosphere. The hotel is connected to the park, allowing guests to use a dedicated entrance for early access, avoiding sun exposure and queues. We stayed in a themed family room with a large bed and children's bunk beds, offering ample space. The room was packed with thoughtful details: a dual peephole design, children's bathrobes, small slippers, and kids' toiletries were all provided. The biggest surprise was the in-room treasure hunt game – following clues to unlock a coded box and receiving an exclusive LEGO gift. The kids were completely absorbed in solving the puzzles and had a blast. There are abundant activities within the hotel, including LEGO building sessions, a swimming pool, and continuous themed performances. Even without leaving the hotel, children can play all day long. The staff were friendly and responsive. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, including LEGO-themed dishes. The overall immersive experience is superb; any young LEGO fan won't want to leave. This is the perfect place to stay for a two-day trip to Legoland ✨ We'll definitely come back to experience other themes next time!

My kid was like a mouse in a rice bin, absolutely thrilled with the vibrant LEGO elements. We chose the City room, and the children's bed was a double-decker bus, while the main bed was a police car, with bedside lamps that flashed like police car lights. Each room comes with a treasure hunt card; kids follow the clues to unlock a code and get a small gift. The hotel also has plenty of activities, with events on the hour and half-hour. At 4 PM, there's a bubble pool activity, so remember to bring your child's swimsuit. There's also a dedicated water play area at LEGOLAND itself, so bringing swimsuits is definitely worth it.
