The Mondrian, 400 yuan, a very small unit. This room didn't even have a disposable toilet seat cover. Hygiene: Seriously subpar. I got bitten so badly in one night, and the red marks are getting bigger and bigger. Service: There seems to be no front desk, everything is automated. Luggage is all stored on the 10th floor. Besides the cleaners, I didn't see any other staff. It seems there are only a few rooms in total. A neighbor mentioned that this place is a guesthouse.

Budapest, 20th floor, 400 RMB Facilities: The washing machine was leaking (see pic 1), and the shower room was tiny. Service: Is customer service a bot? Just copy-pasted responses. It's in an office building next to a hospital and a guesthouse. During peak meal times, the elevator queue can be half an hour long, and it's so packed you can't even get in. At this price, it's great value for money. Nanjing Road is right next door, a five-minute walk, and downstairs there's 'Chan San Chi' and a convenience store (not 24-hour)... Since there were no more rooms available, I extended my stay for one night in a different unit. For the same price, it was half the size and the hygiene was severely substandard. I'll leave a review for that one later!

The room was cozy, clean, and well-equipped, offering a view of the Oriental Pearl Tower. I'd give the mattress five stars – I woke up feeling completely refreshed!

I stayed at this hotel during my recent trip to Shanghai, and overall, I was extremely satisfied. The location is incredibly convenient, right on Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. It's a short walk to both The Bund and People's Square, and there are plenty of restaurants and shopping malls nearby, so you don't have to worry about transportation or dining. The service was also commendable. Check-in at the front desk was quick, and the staff were friendly and responsive to any questions, which made me feel very at ease. The cleanliness was excellent; the room was spotless, the bedding was comfortable and odorless, and the bathroom was very clean. The room quality was good, with a simple yet elegant decor, and all the furniture and appliances were new. It was well-equipped with amenities like a washing machine, refrigerator, and induction cooker, meeting most daily living needs. The indoor environment was quiet and comfortable; despite being in the city center, it wasn't noisy. The view from the window offered city nightscapes, and the ambiance was lovely when the lights came on at night. Overall, this is a highly recommended hotel with excellent value for money and a fantastic experience. I definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Shanghai.
