Wow Executive Hotel

When we arrived at the hotel, we were told that we would receive a free room upgrade. We were delighted. When we entered the upgraded room, it looked worse than the room we booked. We booked the Executive Street View King Room (first photo). The "upgraded" room (second photo) was much smaller and looked terrible. We were told there were no other rooms available. The next day, we spoke to the manager, who insisted the "upgraded" room was indeed a better room. Unbelievable. But to her credit, she changed our room and gave us a room that looked like the one advertised. It would have been an enjoyable stay if not for this.

Has been a good experience the location is spot on in the middle of city center, easy access to a lot of good restaurants. The only concern is regarding the lift, it is always crowded.

The room was great, spacious and view of the city, the staff especially akin was especially helpful with our inquires. Highly recommended for its location, right next to nanjing walking street!

Nice location, 5 mins walk to Nanjing road. The amenity is the best especially hair dyeing. Recommend for first time visit. Also, the local restaurant in the building is the best!

Excellent Location with Direct Airport Access The location is excellent, though the hotel is on a high floor (Level 22 or 23) in a shared building. Pros: Cleanliness: Overall, the hotel is clean. FYI: No bed bugs. Walking Distance to Nanjing Road: Very close to the famous shopping street with plenty of things to see and do. Walk to The Bund: About a 20-minute stroll through Nanjing Road takes you straight to The Bund. Affordable Eats: There are many eateries nearby with very reasonable prices. Direct from Pudong Airport: There is a direct MRT line from the airport (about a 1-hour ride)—very convenient! Near MRT: Less than a 10-minute walk to the station (though the road can be a bit hard to walk). Amenities: The hair dryer is of good quality. Cons: Accessibility Issues: We traveled with a big family and booked multiple rooms. Two of our rooms were not accessible by the lift. We had to carry our heavy luggage up one floor from Level 22/23. Lack of Assistance: There were no staff members available to help carry the bags up the stairs once the lift reached the floor. It would be much better if there was lift access to all rooms or staff to assist. Shower Temperature: The water is either super hot or super cold, and it takes a very long time to adjust it to a comfortable temperature. TV Entertainment: While the TV is large, there aren’t many shows; it’s mainly local TV channels.

One of the best hotel for visiting China. 1. Very good location, with many shops and food around you ( 1 minute walk to biggest shopping street in china - just across the road, and around 10 to the bund ) 2. The view was banging, and the room itself was 10/10 comfort (easy heating, comfy bed, big TV) 3. Staff members were very nice and helpful. Everything you need, hairdryer, USB ports instead of plugs, bidet with many options, nice shower with good power, very comfy bed etc. If I was to come back to shanghai I would book the exact room because the location is 10/10.
