Shenjie Hotel (Waitan Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street)

Right across from my company, it really exceeded my expectations! You can even see the Oriental Pearl Tower from the window.

I originally booked a windowless king room, which wasn't very spacious and didn't quite meet my needs. I upgraded to a larger room by paying the difference, and the front desk staff were very attentive and friendly. The room was clean and well-maintained, and the facilities were complete and in good working order.

I chose Shenjie Hotel for a short stay. The room was small but clean and tidy. The projector in the room had clear visuals and good sound. Also, the front desk service was excellent; they helped me with a free late check-out and luggage storage. It's definitely worth coming back to.

Chose this hotel for my trip and overall, I'm very satisfied. The lobby is clean and bright. The room wasn't huge, but it was just right, and the toiletries were complete and sufficient. The mattress had the perfect firmness – I slept soundly until morning. The public areas were tidy, and security was excellent, making me feel safe coming and going. The value for money far exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend for travelers!

After comparing several places, I decided on this one, and I definitely made the right choice. The room was clean and bright, with simple yet comfortable furnishings. The bathroom drainage worked perfectly, no standing water. The public hallways were clean and clutter-free, showing good management. All the daily necessities were provided, and it wasn't noisy or chaotic, making it perfect for a relaxing stay. I truly recommend it.

Located in the Huangpu District's Nanjing East Road commercial area, it's a 3-5 minute walk to Nanjing East Road Metro Station (Lines 2 & 10). Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street and The Bund are a direct 6-10 minute walk away. People's Square and Yu Garden are also easily accessible, less than a 10-minute taxi ride. Downstairs, you'll find plenty of malls, snack shops, and convenience stores, making it incredibly convenient for shopping and evening strolls along The Bund. This is definitely a top choice for anyone visiting Shanghai.
