Yueshan Qihang (Bund in shanghai dian)

The hotel is located on No. 128 Tianjin Road next to Guoyi beef noodles restaurant and in front of two electric poles opposite the Henderson Metropolitan Hotel back entrance as the main entrance is on Nanjing road pedestrian street. The staff at the front desk can understand a few words in English and the room is spacious but lacks some deep cleaning in some areas of the room. There's a stained couch, a chair, a mini table with some furniture and lots of drawers, a washing machine and a kitchen area. The bed mattress is thin and had back pain the next morning. Bring your own hangers as the ones at hotel have broken clips. A working refrigerator that keeps your drink cold and an air conditioner with chinese language in it. The hotel uses key password to unlock the door and there's no sign post to hang at door knob if you want some privacy. The cleaning ladies will knock and open the door directly. If you're allergic to dusts and do not want to see color stains on the the wall and floor, this hotel may not suits you. The location is good though.

A good stay for the price - we got a good deal to stay 3 nights for cheaper than we could find elsewhere. You get what you pay for so the place was a bit grubby with some stains and peeling wallpaper, but if you want a cheap stay in a good location in central Shanghai with the metro a 3 minute walk away, then we would recommend. The bed was comfier than it looked like it would be in the photos. WiFi didn’t really work but that’s the same as everywhere we’ve stayed in China. There is a kitchen but no pots or pans to use on the hob or plates etc to eat with.

The location is excellent, near from metro exit station, in front of mall, near nanjing street and the bund, and bus stop right in front of hotel. For muslim traveler, there is a halal restaurant beside the hotel and open 24 hours. Very convenient Room is very complete. There is a washing machine, stove, big refrigerator, TV, bathup, and other. Note: the amenities just so-so, and some part not clean enough
