Atour Hotel Shanghai Bund Landmark Plaza

Had a wonderful stay at Atour Hotel on Nanjing Pedestrian Street! The location is excellent — just a short walk from Exit 4 of Metro Line 2, making it easy to get around Shanghai and travel to and from the airport. There are plenty of good food options, shopping malls, and attractions nearby. As the hotel is newly opened, everything felt fresh, modern, and very clean. I was impressed that the towels were individually wrapped, USB-C charging cables were provided, and even complimentary ear plugs were available for guests. These small touches made a big difference. One of my favourite features was the robot delivery service. I ordered food through ******* several times, and the robot delivered it directly to my room. The hotel also provides complimentary late-night supper from 9:30pm onwards, which was especially comforting after a long day of exploring the city. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They even recommended a nearby foot massage place that turned out to be excellent — exactly what we needed after walking 15,000–20,000 steps a day around Shanghai! A funny thing I’ll remember is that the hotel shares its lift lobby with a silverware shop that uses scented mist. Every time I walked in or out, I felt like I was making a grand entrance through clouds of “fairy smoke” like a character from a Chinese fantasy drama 😂. To top it all off, the staff surprised us with a small souvenir upon check-out. It was such a thoughtful gesture and a lovely way to end our trip. Overall, excellent location, impeccable cleanliness, thoughtful amenities, and warm hospitality. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Shanghai.

Enjoyed our stay! The room is clean and very roomy. The hotel is so convenient to everything. The breakfast and late night snacks were amazing! The hotel staffs are very helpful and friendly especially Jsheon who helped us checked in. Thank You Atour staff! I would definitely recommend this hotel to my family and friends! BTW, if you arrive the first day to the hotel. Therr is a store in the first floor. Go inside and walk straight to the elevator to the 8th floor where the lobby is located.

Breakfast and supper provided was a plus point. Checking out time is at 2pm is superb. But the free 24/7 laundry was the best as you can pack light and shop more. Best part is there is also souvenir and cold mineral water for guest who are checking out. Such a thoughtful hotel and I will recommend to anyone who will be coming to Shanghai to stay here. Location was perfect and the price is good too for the service provided. Late night delivery by the cute robots was an additional dessert to our trip. Easy to travel around as the metro is just stone throw away distance. Food and shopping is just a foot step away. 100% satisfied.

Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay. The hotel’s location is excellent, and most of the staff were warm, helpful, and hospitable. We checked in on 31 May during what appeared to be a peak period. There was one young lady and two young gentlemen at the reception. We understand that busy check-in periods can be challenging, but the young lady who assisted us came across as rather unfriendly. We also noticed some inconsistency in guest service during check-in—some guests were offered welcome drinks, others received bottled water, while we were not offered either. This was not a major issue for us, but consistency in service would help ensure all guests have a similar experience. On a positive note, the tall young gentleman who helped us locate our packages was exceptionally kind, polite, patient, and professional. His assistance was greatly appreciated and left a very positive impression. During check-out on 2 June, there was a minor incident involving a gift box we were carrying. The staff member handling our luggage accidentally knocked the box against the edge of the reception counter, resulting in a small chip to the box. She apologised and kindly offered two small gifts as compensation, which we declined as the box was intended as a gift for someone else. We appreciated the apology, but it would be beneficial for staff to exercise greater care when handling guests’ belongings. This review is not intended as a complaint but as constructive feedback. With a little more consistency in service standards and attentiveness, the guest experience could be even better. Thank you for an otherwise pleasant stay, and we look forward to returning in the future.

Hotel location was superb, right in the middle of walking street. walking distance to the bund as well. room was very good as well, amenities were on par to 4stars hotel and bed and pillow was super comfy. Service was recommended, will definitely be my 1st choice next visit

Great location right in the middle of Nanjing Road. The hotel is clean and comfortable, and overall the stay was enjoyable. The only downside is that the lifts are located inside a silver shop, making the entrance somewhat noisy during the day.
