Haitang Hotel (Shanghai Fudan University)

This is my second time stay here.... 15mins walk to MRT wujiaochang. That's many shopping mall, you can enjoy your shopping, your meals.... That's a small mall beside the hotel, also can get nice food....

There's too many negative things to say, I don't know if I can remember it all. First, the room is quite small for the price which is a bit higher than some hotels around the area. Second, you have to ask for amenities everyday (degradable towels, toothbrushes, etc). Third, I'm not sure if they clean the room? the bed seemed to always not be made. The space of the washing room is absurd, you can barely open the door and put in your clothes. Most importantly, I managed to find two live bugs, one on the bedroom floor and the other crawling on the bathroom sink. Since I booked for quite a long stay, I ended up cancelling the rest of the stay and got a refund for the unused nights. This has to be my worst experience from almost ten hotels during my China trip this month. The only ok thing was that the receptionist lady was nice. Still don't recmomend it though. If you can help it, I really wouldn't book this hotel.

Getting worse now, the services are awful, they only limit the water up to 2 bottles. They will behave sarcastic when you ask for extra bottle :)

Very nice place to stay. The personnel is friendly and happy to help with any issue. Close to metro.
