Chenjia Hotel (Huanghe Road, Nanjing Road Walkway, Shanghai)

Right outside the hotel, there's a subway station for Line 1. The surrounding area is undergoing demolition, so it gets very dark at night. The room itself is tiny. The bathroom looks like it hasn't been cleaned in 30 years; the floor is incredibly dirty, with moss growing on it. As soon as I lay on the bed, my skin started itching. I had booked for two nights but checked out first thing the next morning. This room should honestly be priced under 100.

The environment is great, the service is excellent, and it's very clean. The location is also fantastic, and all the hotel staff are wonderful.
