The Middle House

This hotel was one of the best experiences in Shanghai. I've stayed here twice and it's perfectly situated by West Nanjing Rd station. We were helped throughout our stay by Peter, a wonderful team manager at the hotel. He was super supportive and was always a chat or call away to assist us. The pool and spa areas were a very nice place to relax and there was always friendly staff waiting to assist us. The resturaunts nearby are expensive but so delicious. Try Frasca and ordering from room service if you've got spare cash to spend! Also check out the shopping area across the street by the metro!! All in all, a fantastic staycation in Shanghai not far from home!

The location is very good, you can walk past Taikoo Hui from the third floor of the hotel. Probably because of this, it is the reason for the high price. Because the design of the room does not have a luxurious feel, it is just a general business hotel. But the restaurant’s breakfast and coffee shop are very good, the breakfast is delicious, the presentation and taste are very good. It should be managed by the Hong Kong team, and the quality is guaranteed.

At this price, the overall feeling is unsatisfactory. The single bed is very small, only 1 meter, and it is uncomfortable to sleep. The design of various switches in the room is unreasonable, the switch key is still loose, the sensitivity is very low, and those who don't know think it is broken. The bluetooth speaker in the room is a furnishing, except for charging the mobile phone, everything else is broken. In addition, I don't know why there is no ventilation system in the bathroom, I feel very puzzled. The traffic area, breakfast, etc. are all pretty good.

After completing the registration, a beautiful lady sent to the guest room and introduced her all the way. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and there was a gift kit. The toiletries need to be improved a bit, and the washed hair is a bit astringent. The drinks in the room are free except for the labelled ones. The mineral water is of Italian origin. There is no limit (this is good). The breakfast is very good value, very nice. They are all ordered and of good quality. It is recommended (after all, the price is more than $2,000). In short, it is very recommended!
