Awesome location. 2 minute walk to Nanjing street. Hotel staff are professional and polite. They took care of all of our needs. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

Highly recommend this hidden gem of a hotel! The location is absolutely fantastic, right next to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street and People's Square. You can walk to the Bund, and the metro access is incredibly convenient for getting around. The room itself was clean and tidy, with complete amenities and soft, comfortable bedding. Despite being in the heart of the city, it was surprisingly quiet, making for a great night's sleep. The front desk staff were warm, attentive, and very pleasant to communicate with. This hotel attracts a lot of Korean tourists, creating a lively atmosphere – you might even spot a good-looking Korean oppa! It's an amazing experience. Given its prime city center location, it offers excellent value for money. A must-stay for anyone visiting Shanghai, and a great chance to meet international friends at the Jinglai Hotel.

The common areas are also quiet and tidy. The service is incredibly warm and attentive, with seamless communication in Chinese, English, and Korean, and airport transfers are available. The location is extremely convenient; it's a short walk to Nanjing East Road Station for Metro Lines 2 and 10, and getting a taxi to and from the airport or train station is a breeze. You can also walk to attractions like the Bund, Nanjing Road, and Yu Garden. There's an abundance of great food nearby, with everything from xiaolongbao, shengjian, local Shanghainese dishes, and milk tea desserts to Korean BBQ, fried chicken, and budae jjigae – making it a hub for Korean friends. It's super convenient for sightseeing and finding food. Highly recommended!

Really loved the hotel's location, right between Suzhou Creek and the Bund, making it super convenient. Nanjing Road is just a short walk away. The front desk has a great coffee machine and tea bags (I even bought the same black tea online when I got home, haha!). The washing and drying machines were a lifesaver for our multi-day stay. There's a Lawson convenience store downstairs, and if you walk a bit further, you'll find fruit stalls and various eateries. The hotel staff were also incredibly nice. Highly recommend! A little extra tip: If you're traveling with kids, you might want to spend a bit more for one of their slightly pricier rooms (my photos are a bit dark because I didn't turn on all the lights, but the rooms are perfectly fine). It's really good value for money! For young people, it's not as big of a deal.
