Everything OK except the room need to be upgraded. Location if very good with metro subway just few minutes walk and the Shanghai railway ststion just across the road.

The hotel itself is fine. Little worn out but ok for short stay for one or two nights. The worst side of this hotel are surroundings. There’s not much here apart from the train station, but it has seen better days. Little bit dodgy area but we haven’t face any situations

The checkin progress is kinda slow. We know it is near midnight, all of us hope the process could be faster and everyone can rest longer

There is a window, but it is closed and there are debris blocking the window facing the building. The picture is outside the window. The sound insulation is very poor. Someone coughed in the corridor of the building outside the window, and with the echo in the corridor, I thought he was coughing with a microphone, which is not an exaggeration. The phone next door vibrated in the morning. I heard it clearly. I thought it was my phone vibrating, not to mention the sound of washing and going to the toilet. Note⚠️If you take a taxi, the navigation cannot reach the door! ! You need to get off at the roadside and carry your luggage up a few stairs to the square. Baidu navigation can easily lead to the back of the building

The hotel is less than 300 meters away from the South Square of Shanghai Railway Station. There are buses and subway lines 1, 3, and 4 nearby for transfer. The room facilities are relatively new, clean and quiet. The free breakfast provided by the store has many options and is quite good.

The location is close to the city center, 4 subway stations to People's Square, about 10 minutes away, subway lines 1, 3, and 4, basically convenient to Wukang, Xuhui, churches, Chenghuang Temple, and the Bund, which are popular places for tourists in Shanghai. The hygiene is OK, and the breakfast variety is limited, but I think it's OK, coarse grains, corn, sweet potatoes, fried rice, fried noodles, eggs, soy milk, milk, porridge, various pasta, vegetables, basically healthy. The worst thing is that the sound insulation is too poor, and there is a lot of noise from the water pipes, which is not suitable for people who sleep lightly, this is a bit bad

Lightning protection, this hotel is good for sleeping, but the rest is a mess. The waiter was very quibbling and refused to disturb me in my room the next day. Very close to the train station, Luckin Coffee is just around the corner from the subway entrance, and it has merged with Magnolia Coffee. The small supermarket opposite is very affordable. The old Shanghai noodle restaurant next to it is very popular. There are so many rooms, I live on the 3rd floor, and the soundproofing is very good.

I booked it for someone else. It's near the train station, with very convenient transportation and many choices for food. It's very cost-effective. There is also a natural history museum nearby, you can go there for a visit.
