The lady who checked me in was fantastic; she upgraded my room, and my butler, Cecilia, was incredibly attentive. You truly get what you pay for here. The Bulgari's location and facilities are top-tier in Shanghai. The fact that breakfast is available until 1 AM is a huge advantage. The service was also excellent, with Cecilia being particularly warm and welcoming. My only minor complaint is that while there was a pillow menu, none of the three I tried were particularly comfortable. It would be great if they could add some firmer, thicker pillows in the future.

I booked a room with a Bund view, but it was slightly different from what I imagined. The hotel service was absolutely fantastic, truly excellent. The spa was incredibly relaxing and highly recommended. The caviar for afternoon tea was very generous, though they were a bit stingy with the champagne 🫢. The Italian restaurant is highly recommended; they were so attentive to me since I was dining alone. You can tell the room is a bit older, but it's generally very well-maintained. The closet was too dark though, I couldn't see anything! 😂 The welcome amenities were lovely, and they even gave me a luggage tag with my name on it. Thank you!
