It’s quite a good hotel. The building is quite old. The AC works fine, the bed was not the best but we still could sleep well. Overall is fine for a budget stay.

The hotel is 4 stops away from Pudong Airport, and is located about 300 meters to the left after getting off at Chuansha Station and exiting Exit 1. You can easily find it as there is a bakery at the entrance. The front desk receptionist was very enthusiastic. The building is old and the room smells of cigarettes, so don't expect too much. The shower was fine, but the bath towels were worn out. There are no outlets at the pillow. The Wi-Fi is unstable and weak. (I think this can't be helped since the hotel prioritized price and location.) The location is good, and you can walk for about 20 minutes to Chuansha Ancient Town, and cross the bridge to see the old Shanghai downtown area. There are also restaurants and convenience stores, so it's not lacking. I bought a 3-day subway pass for about 900 yen and went to various places such as the Bund, Nanxiang, and Qibao. (It took about 40 minutes by subway from Chuansha Station to the Bund.) The first subway train to Lian Dong Airport leaves at 6:15, so I think this is a convenient station for morning flights.
