The room itself was okay. When we entered, the smell of old humidity was quite strong. But luckily, there was an air purifier inside!! The room was a tight fit between the counter and beds, but a bit spacious at the side near the windows! Overall, not bad

I’ll definitely stay here again. 5 minutes walk from Pudong Ave metro exit 1, which is about 15 minutes from Shanghai Railway station. The front desk workers were also very helpful and pleasant, check in was quick and easy and they also quickly responded to a noisy neighbor report and even allowed me late check out! I was never out of bottled water including complimentary coke and soda water in the refrigerator. Well recommended!

The Hotel was under construcción and the complete lobby was full with the contractor people, it was really a awful place to be, at least it should be announced before we booked the room

Maybe the experience could have been completely different in a few months time, but during my stay the hotel was undergoing significant renovation in the lobby and first floor, resulting in a large amount of dusts, cigarette smoke and inconvenience until you get to your room. But it doesn’t end there - the ventilation in the bathrooms are somehow all connected, so when there is a smoker in another bathroom somewhere else, the smoke could reach my room. So the infrastructure of this hotel is rather questionable.
On the plus side, the service level from the hotel staff is positive and offers a good contrast against the poor physical condition of the hotel.
The original booking was for usual commercial rates with no discounts offered in light of the renovation. The original booking referred to landmark view from the room, which there is none and therefore is quite misleading.
Overall, a rather average if not below average experience.

Across the board it’s a decent place. Although, the rooms with the strange view into a corridor of nothingness is a bizarre fever dream of plastic grass and plastic lambs. Quite hilarious.
