Puhua Hotel

This is the worst hotel I‘ve ever seen. Avoid it at all costs! I booked the room for five nights but couldn‘t even stay one night because it was so dirty and the mattress was literally just a blanket. It looked like it has never been cleaned before + the elevator looked like it would stop working every moment. The only good thing is that they let me check out earlier and I only had to pay for one night without any problems. But still, the woman at the front desk didn’t even try to give me a better room, nor did she apologize for the inconvenience. Maybe this is their business model: never cleaning the rooms, so people check out on the same day but still have to pay for one night. Not even the price justifies these conditions. I stayed at a much better hotel in a better location for only €40 more.

The hotel is close to the city center and the price is quite affordable for such a good location. However, the room is small and most of the facilities are quite old.

The location is near to Nampu Bridge metro station, around 8mins walking distance, so okay laa… but the toilet is horrible, cannot flush! we asked to change room and we still cannot trust the toilet, we did our business in public toilets instead! The location is opposite of this building btw.

If this was in a western country the hotel would be condemned. The bed was clean. Everything else was not. The shower had mould. The toilet seat came off. The toilet also didn’t flush. The room was not the same as the picture, not withstanding how dirty it was. The bedframe was rusted and below it there was spiders and a used q tip.

I've booked the rooms for me and my teammates staying in Shanghai for a historical fencing tournament. The place was super close to the venue, we could walk there in 6min from the place. The rooms were ok, good for the price we payed and had washing machines . It's a shame there wasn't a bigger common space in which we could stay together and hang out.

Budget hotel in the centre, very close to the Yu Garden and the Bund. A short walk away to the metro station To location is really great! The room is small, but that's to be expected. It could be a bit cleaner. But the sheets and towels were clean, that's the most important. The staff is very nice, there was always someone at the reception to help with anything. If you prefer to save some money and lower your standards a bit, then I recommend it!
