After years of business travel, this is my first time leaving a negative review for a hotel. I checked in needing to quickly drop off my luggage for a work-related task nearby. It wasn't until I returned to my room at night that I noticed all the problems. The cleanliness was terrible, the room was small and poorly designed, and it looked nothing like the pictures on Trip.com. I feel like I was misled by photoshopped images. I will be formally complaining to Trip.com about this hotel.

Couldn't sleep at all last night because of all the air conditioners outside the window – they were super loud! I even requested a quiet room, but it was still so noisy. Even with the windows completely shut, I couldn't get any sleep. 😰 Then at 6 AM, there was some kind of excavator or vehicle making a racket again. The room itself was clean, which was okay, I guess.

The bedside outlets in the room were faulty, with a very noticeable buzzing sound. The old air conditioner was noisy, making it impossible for light sleepers to get any rest! The noise was so unbearable that I went to the front desk to switch rooms at night, but the next day they went back on their word and made me pay the difference! The cleaning lady used her own card to enter my room at 7:40 AM while I was still asleep! The front desk manager was unyielding and wouldn't budge, even telling me to call the police if I had a problem!

The closes metro, Shanghai indoor sports center, is located closer and do have escalators which makes traveling easier. It's easy to get around on the metro and hotel is located between two. The bus stop is also on either enda of the street as well as a shopping mall.
