Lucky Hotel（Shanghai People's Square Metro Station Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street Hotel）

The location is fantastic! There's food right outside the door, and it's not far from the subway station, making it super convenient. The room was very clean, and the front desk staff were really welcoming. You can also have packages delivered to the hotel.

My company's headquarters are right by People's Square, so I'm often in the area for work and have stayed at many hotels nearby – chain brands, boutique styles, budget-friendly, and even serviced apartments. This hotel definitely stands out as one of the best for its price range near Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. While the design isn't particularly stunning, it offers a truly comfortable stay. The room had absolutely no unpleasant odors, striking a perfect balance between refined and clean. The service was impeccable; they were essentially always ready to help without being overly enthusiastic, maintaining a great sense of boundaries and appropriateness. The location is fantastic, situated within the Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street commercial area, close to all the popular attractions and cultural venues, most of which are within walking distance. Highly recommended!

I stayed in Shanghai for over ten days this time, and among the several hotels I tried, this one was definitely the most satisfying. I was very pleased with the room; it was clean, tidy, and had no strange odors. The front desk lady thoughtfully upgraded us to a deluxe king room with a window. The hotel's location is also very convenient for transportation, being close to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street and the Bund. It's also near People's Square subway station, where you can take Line 1 directly to Shanghai South Railway Station for the high-speed train. The front desk staff provided excellent service, and one lady even thoughtfully gave us a travel guide. If I had booked this hotel earlier, I would have gladly stayed a couple more days. The hotel also provides special slippers and toothbrushes for children, along with laundry and drying services. During our stay, another front desk lady even gave my child a phone stand, saving me the trouble of buying one, which was a really thoughtful gesture.
