Waiting Hotel (Shanghai Bund Nampho Bridge Subway Station)

The stay started off poorly, but gradually improved over the 3 nights. We have a party of four people so we booked two separate rooms. One of the rooms A/C didn’t work well which resulted in us asking to relocate room, we noticed there was a room with a window free and asked if available. We explained that we were happy to pay the difference to ‘upgrade’ to a window room but couldn’t give us a price as we booked through a third party. The service was reasonable and kind enough, but the situation was not convenient from a customer perspective. After a few hours of communication with the hotel and trip.com they changed one of the rooms which was a positive. Unfortunately, that evening, in the other room a cockroach was found in the room. The staff came to the room and sprayed a type of bug stray and we didn’t see another cockroach. They also gave some breakfast coupons for the experience. The location is quite good, it’s on the river and around a 40 minute walk to the Bund/Tv station area.

Must give 5 Stars The front desk staff was excellent, especially staff no 312 n 316 both of them helped me for the parcels which I ordered from Taobao, direction of the attraction I wanted to go. They even taught me to use ******* to order bag as we need an extra bag for our stuff. They really provide a good service.👍👍👍 They offer late check out for us too. The room was clean and tidy with a window. The view was beautiful. The beds are comfortable.. The housekeeping was nice n polite. Breakfast was delicious n plentiful. We received free coupon. Laundry Room with dryer. Good Location! Highly recommend.👍👍👍 Definitely stay here again on my next trip to Shanghai 😊

The location was not so convenient but the staff were very nice and accommodating.
