Dears Hotel (Shanghai Jing'an)

Great location right near a huge railway station and easy to get a Didi outside. The breakfast was lovely buffet. The room I had a corner room with jacuzzi bath. It was lovely.

So happy with our whole stay. The room is a little bit dusty on some places but overall it was a good stay. My son enjoyed the bathub so much. We all had a good sleep because the bed was so comfortable. The location was so convenient, just a few minutes away from the metro and railway station. The people in the frontdesk were all so kind and helpful in ordering food and with our taobao orders. I appreciate you all ❤️

Really enjoyed our stay. Rooms were great, breakfast was great. Super close to trains and river walking paths. Only complaint of I’m being picky was the floors were dirty. Room floor was a bit dirty and hall ways looked like they hadn’t seen a vacuum in weeks.

The hotel is in the perfect location. The bath water was cold. There was dust all over. The bed was comfortable and clean. They tied to force a five star review and trying to fix the problems at checkout which was way too late. They gave us a gift to apologize for everything that happened. The AI assistant was broken and would just start talking for no reason. The WiFi was terrible! The air purifier is a great touch. The floors were dirty. The bath is chipped and peeling. They do not wash the bath after you bath and just give a plastic cover when you complain. I would not stay here again

Stayed here for 3 days on a mini solo trip to Shanghai in the panoramic room (which at the time was amazingly barely more than the regular room). The front desk people were super nice and helpful. Location was also amazing. Right next to the Shanghai train station for day trips and other cities, which means it’s also right next to the metro. You won’t hear any outside noises though. Also next to some decent food spots too. Everything in the hotel room all works fine, and the view is quite nice at night time. I think the cleanliness is a bit ehh. While it’s not dirty, it’s definitely not the cleanest either. Part of that is just from being an old building/room though. Sometimes I think I heard noises from maybe the hot tub from the floor above? Or some sort of water? It was very intermittent and not too loud though. Overall an excellent stay, and the main thing I will mark against it is that I wish the room was cleaner.

A lovely stay at this hotel. I upgraded my room to the Panoramic view Penthouse and it was worth every penny. Luxurious stay and a comfy bed. I would 💯 recommend. The staff were lovely
