A good location in an interesting neighbourhood in Shanghai, plenty of restaurant options close by. Even though our room was interior, there was a clever invention which created the illusion of natural light. Comfortable bed, efficient service, I would recommend this hotel for a short visit to the city.

The odor was immediately noticeable upon entering and lingered throughout the stay, making it uncomfortable to relax or sleep. I did bring this to the attention of the front desk, and change my room , they attempted to spray air freshener, which didn’t help much” While the hotel had some positives —friendly staff, good service — the persistent smoke smell significantly affected the overall experience. I hope the management takes steps to address this issue more thoroughly in the future, such as better enforcement of non-smoking policies and deeper room

Very clean and great service. The room was well lit and spacious. There is free laundry service on the 10th floor and daily housekeeping. They were very kind as to allow me to cancel my reservation earlier than my check-out date as my plans had changed, and they also allowed me to check-out later than 12:30pm.

The whole place is full of cigarette smoke. They smoke in all the rooms, it’s ok to smoke in the elevator and they smoked in the breakfast room. All my clothes and hair smelled of cigarettes. Also room photos do not match the room and me. But really it’s the overwhelming amount of decayed cigarette stink imbedded in everything from years of smokers that ignore no smoking signs and staff that don’t stop it.

It’s my memorable time to stayed at YOTEL Hotel. Best stay, best location and very convenient for shopping at public transportation. Very recommended!!!

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. It’s a good rate and close enough to NYU Shanghai for a visit. It’s very comfortable and it’s clean . However, it’s an older hotel so it’s been used more. Regardless. I slept great. Bathroom and room is comfortable and clean. Most of all it feels like home away from home. The service is so good and the staff is the most friendly. I will come again .
