Best hotel in Shanghai. Metro station just under the hotel. The metro station can directly reach Pudong and Hongqiao airport. Very convenient.

I had a pleasant 4-night stay at this hotel, though there are several areas that could use improvement. The room was comfortable overall, but housekeeping needs more attention. There was leftover soap on the bathtub upon arrival, tissues were not replenished daily, and the towels were quite worn out — with loose strings and clear signs of overuse, they definitely need to be replaced. The shower experience varied. In my first room, the water pressure was low when using warm water, though it was strong with cold water. After requesting a room change, the water pressure improved, but the shower head in the new room was very dirty — I had to clean it with soap before using it. Although the hotel has three elevators, they were rather slow, especially when going from the ground floor up to the 25th floor. On the positive side, the hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. The location is excellent — the hotel is directly connected to a shopping mall, with access to the Metro line at Basement 2. It’s also just a 10-minute walk to a park, which is great for morning walks. Plenty of food options are available in the mall, and the hotel is about an hour’s drive from Pudong Airport. In summary, while the hotel benefits from a convenient location and friendly staff, improvements in cleanliness, maintenance, and housekeeping standards would make the experience much better.

This was our 4th stay in this hotel and we would come again. The value for money is great. the front desk was very helpful.

Nicely located hotel in zhongshan park connected to cloud nine mall. Hotel entrance can be access inside the mall, not far from zara. Lobby at level 25 is huge but why only 4 seater sofa available for guests. Hopefully the hotel can add more chairs at the lobby for guests to sit during check in and out. I was attended by Miss Almira during check in. Miss Almira is very welcoming and friendly and efficient and she can speak fluent english. At the executive lounge on 26th Floor, we were being served by Mr Rain. Once again, outstanding service given by Mr Rain. Rain was very welcoming, friendly and efficient. Two thumbs up to Almira and Rain. In terms of rooms, yes they were a bit dated, old and in need of some refurbishment. However, everything in the room is working good. Bathroom amenities were good too. At the executive lounge, we feel that the food selection during Afternoon Tea is poor (at 4pm, there is no refill anymore alto the afternoon tea is until 5pm). The evening happy hour session was very crowded and chaotic with guest fighting over the buffet food. My suggestion is that mayb the hotel can consider distributing the roast meat from table to table instead of having all guests fighting over it which does not loom good for executive lounge experience. Otherwise the food selection for the happy hour was good and very substantial. For buffet breakfast, once again the situation is very crowded from 8am to 9am. Hotel look under staff too during buffet breakfast. Nevertheless, this hotel buffet breakfast spread was good, extensive and many delicious local food to try. Hopefully the hotel management can find a way to solve the crowded and chaotic situation during evening happy hour at the Executive Lounge and Buffet Breakfast. Overall, i still think this is a great to excellent to stay in shanghai. Highly recommended.

Good service and location… you can check the room before enter the room, because any hot room… but the service already fast get the response.. good job and thanks

Booked many times this hotel at my short stays. Always friendly and attentive (english is ok). Price goes higher depending on the season but location is good for a stay of 1-2days and biz trips. Breakfast is ok and varied as always (western and chinese food). The room is very spacious, clean and with good view. Love to stay here because of the room. Never failed. There are good restaurants nearby and the deparment store is connected. So it’s quite convenient for a short stay.

Perfect location, very convenient for the first time visitor. Big shopping mall and many restaurants at the same building. However, the room is smaller than the same class hotel.

I had a fantastic stay at Renaissance Shanghai Zhongshan Park Hotel. The rooms are spacious, well-maintained, and offer excellent comfort, making it a great choice for both business and leisure travelers. The location is unbeatable—situated right above a metro interchange, providing easy access to major attractions. Plus, with plenty of shopping malls, restaurants, and entertainment options just steps away, you’ll never run out of things to do. The breakfast selection is impressive, featuring a variety of both local and international dishes that cater to different tastes. The views from the hotel are simply breathtaking, especially from the higher floors, offering a stunning panorama of Shanghai’s skyline. Most importantly, the price is very reasonable for the quality and experience provided, making this hotel an excellent value for money. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Shanghai!

Great location, hotel, and staff! Great area for shopping and restaurants

The hotel has a great city view from the room, a clean and spacious pool and gym, and an excellent location for transport and shopping. However, international TV channels were offline, so no evening movies available to relax. Customer service was unimpressive, staff had weak English ability and attitude wasn’t very friendly. The super deluxe room felt standard aside from the view. The sky view bar and lounge was closed for renovation, but this was not mentioned on Trip.com. Decent stay, but some disappointments.

My 5th stay and still loving it. The concierge team always makes my day- Sam (the bald gentleman), the lady behind the counter, the tall gentleman always smiling when receiving or sending off guests at the porch. The team is always helpful when I require assistance to send stuffs to my room/ concierge. I’m already looking forward to my next stay in Feb. The hotel reception/ check in team can be more welcoming and smiley though. Although it’s my 5th stay in a short 4 months, somehow they didn’t keep my record and whilst an upgrade will be a nice gesture but I’m not demanding for it; at least a warm reception will be welcomed. Gym is good as always.
